If there is any way for Plzen to stand up to the strong Danes, it's the defense. The offense quality they have in Tonar, Skvaril and Vinkelhofe shouldn't be that prominent because now they're up against a team who is a lot stronger than themselves. Since pivot Sindelar probably won't be ready, that should weaken their offense even more, so they really have nothing else to do but to defend themselves. They have shown a lot of times that they can play a good zone in strong matches, so they left Porec at 24 and 25, Dukla at 22, Hranice at 23, and the very fast Zubre at 28 points. Their job will be somewhat easier because the away team are without the offensively very important right back Mads Christiansen, and the experienced pivot Knudsen is also questionable. Since one part of the match will be played with three right-handed players in the back line, I can believe that Plezn, with a deeper defense, can leave the away team at 27-28 goals.
On the other hand, the defense is the stronger suite of the away team, so even if they don't have great results lately, defense rarely failed them. Danish teams are a lot stronger than Plzen so with their extra centimeters and kilograms they should have no problems limiting the Czechs at max 23-24 goals.
