This is the late game of the 14th round of the Romanian championship. Craiova secured the first match of the round of 16 in the Cup winner of the cups by beating the Slovenian Krim 30-29 on Saturday. They're playing the return fixture this Saturday in Ljubljana. Today's match against the third-placed Braila isn't something they wish to do, due to all the European matches and the limited roster. This is the first match for Braila after the new year's, and the championship break. In their last two matches, they've beaten Rapid Bucuresti (37-24, 42-33). They don't have injury issues like Craiova, their coach Costica Buceschi had a big role in the Romanians winning the World Championship bronze in Denmark. Also, three Braila's players were starters in Craiova last season. Braila won the first match at the beginning of this season, 33-29, in a home match. Everything today leans toward Braila going home undefeated.
