Sevilla are completely out of shape, don't even remember the last time they won and not even the new coach managed to turn things around. I think they're in for another bad outcome today but in a different way than in Lithuania. Lietuvos like fast paced game and have the players who can handle it, but mostly home. They can play good defense away and often limit the opponents to under 70 points. They are much stronger than Sevilla phisically and probably won't be looking for a fast pace today since that's not their style in away games. Sevilla constantly talk about good defense but never really start playing it. They will try and bring the pace down today and since I don't think they can beat Lietuvos, team under at Sevilla seems like a great choice. Details

I don't think this margin is realistic. Maybe statistically, but not for this match. Unicaja scored 80 and more points in four out of the last 13 away matches, including Barca and CSKA, teams with perhaps the best defenses in Europe. But, those were matches with 100 points total, and that's not that common. Unicaja play tough in all away matches, they don't have an offensive talent to spare, so they solve everything with raw power. Today, they'll face plenty of that because Bogris and Jawai can create lots of problems, and they also slow down the rhythm. Andorra have been playing like that both home and away, and they rarely have lots of points, except against run and gun teams like Joventut. At home, they left both Real and Barca under 80, and I'm sure they can do the same against Unicaja who are weaker offensively, and also come after a exhausting trip and a match played only two days ago. I think Olympiacos are definitely overrated as they face Laboral. They are capable of beating anyone home, there's no doubt about it, just like Laboral are capable of losing to just about anyone away. But, I don't that kind of outcome today. Laboral are physically powerful enough to be able to stand up Olympiacos' game, first and foremost rebounding. They were dominant over Real and CSKA away in that aspect of the game. They played a close game in the first head-to-head in Greece and gave Olympiacos a hard time despite having a lower-quality team compared to this one today. They destroyed Olympiacos in the second head-to-head in Spain to prove their game doesn't agree with the Greek side. Lafayette and Petway are questionable today but even with them on the team, Olympiacos are not as dominant in rebounding as Laboral are. This is a one way match in my opinion. Everyone was waiting for Real to put their roster back in shape, and no wonder since almost everyone was at the WC with their national teams and it took a while to get back in form. The Belgrade game in which they demolished Zvezda was the turning point, they've been playing great defense ever since and are demolishing all opposition. They easily covered this handicap in 7 of their last 9 home games, and only Uniks and Laboral excaped a blowout. I don't see how PAO can join them as they lack both quality and physical power to stand up to Real in Madrid. Panathinaikos also play much worse away than at home, and have already been demolished twice against PAOK and Fener, both decidedly weaker than Real. Betting on under with teams such as Laboral is rarely profitable, but there are several reasons I think it's worth trying today. We saw against Efes that Laboral can play good defense, and control the pace without rushing. This was not an isolated case, and happens much often in the ACB league. More importantly, Estudiantes transform from a superfast running team to a slow one in away matches, and have never gone over in their seven away games this season. Statistically wise, this margin maybe makes sense. But if we take a look at the matches of these two clubs, the margins is actually missed. Zvezda are great in the offense this season, but at home they were far under this margin against stronger teams, and they went over only against Mega Vizura, Krk and Caja Laboral, teams who play fast basketball and who Zvezda beat in unimportant matches. Real are the most talented Europe's team whose defense is really bad this season, and are still under the margin in serious matches (Barca, Zalgiris, Efes, Unics). Sevilla are doing great home, much better than away and I believe they will win this. My reason for over is mostly their offense talent, but the opponent as well. Manresa conceded over this margin in 3 out of the 6 home games, and in 5 out of the 6 away games. The defense is not their strong suit and that might get very obvious today. Sevilla scored over 85 points in 3 out of the last 4 games, even against Barcelona. Valencia are going through a tough period. They're hanging by a thread in the king's cup, under a lot of pressure, and only now rounding out their team. The away team on the other hand have never been better. But, we like to go against the grain, of course. The strength of these two is not correctly represented by their ranking. Valencia are extremely talented and I'm convinced they will start playing well continuously. So far we only saw flashes, like their last two games were they went over 100 points. Now they'll face a team with a defense that's nothing special, who like fast paced basketball, and I'm certain this is right up Valencia's alley. Obradorio's performances are much better home than away. They build their good games around defense and in order to stand a chance today will need a good defense performance. The offense is a problem - they the second worst team in Spain when it comes to that. Barcelona are the best team when it comes to defense, which suggest we should go with an under at home team.. But, I would rather go with the total under because Barcelona won't have four guards to count on today. Jackson might be a good acquisition and Hezonja a great talent, but those four are not easy to make up for. Barcelona also have typical centers that slow the pace down and this won't be your run'n'gun basketball. Both teams will play long attacks and I think that this can't go over 150 points even if the shooting efficiency is above average. Details
