They are still fighting for the 4th position, which brings the fight for the third spot in the play-off, and that would be a great success for such team. Cuprum play best at home, and their away record is 4-8, which shows us how absurd the odds at 1.30 on their win are. Bydgoscz are a decent team, with a bit of luck they could have a better position. At the start of the season they had a lot of problems with injuries, now they caught their pace and they are still in the battle for the 8th position, which would be a good result considering the slow start of the season. Zenit are the defending champions in CL and play with almost exactly the same team that won the title. They're the favorites for every title this season. I don't like going with favorites, especially not when they play before Polish fans but I cannot ignore the fact that Zenit are the best team and Wilfredo the best player in the world. All of that needs to be confirmed in this match. The visitors are an experienced team, Belchatow aren't really well rested and I expect Zenit to win to get through to Top 4. Details

This is their second chance to finish the series and I believe that's what they'll do. The momentum is on their side even though they lost the last game. Piacenza are on an 11-game losing run, but today I expect that negative run to end. In the finals of the regular part of the Italian Championship, Piacenza have already transferred focus on this strange mini-group of the Italian league which will determine the position in the fight for the fifth place, because this mini-group will be mixed with the losers of the playoffs quarter-finals. Belchatow's got a lot of injuries to deal with this year, mostly with Wlazly who isn't playing that well this season, and that makes everything depend on Contej. This match is really important for Belchatow in the fight for the second place, but they're coming here after the Champions League match against Zenit where they played great and beaten the best team in a tie-break. But then they had to travel from Kazan. Now they're coming to Warszawska who are in great form and had time to get ready for this. Belchatow won 3-0 in the first duel, but the set ended on the difference twice, and now they exchanged the home courts, so I expect Warszawska to take a set because they're hot right now, and Belchatow aren't really fresh, so I wouldn't be surprised if Belchatow take this without a lost set. Rseszow recorded two back-to-back wins and at this point only Rzeszow, Belchatow and maybe Gdansk are in competition for the second position. Rseszow still don't know which of their two receivers will be in the starting lineup, because they have all been inconsistent. Kurek is a good opposite, but he is rather fatigued, because he has not had a substitute the entire season since Schops got injured. Olstyn are a decent team, they rely a lot on receivers Stoilovic and Bednorz. Their home court record is 9-2, they lost only to ZAKSA and Jastrzebsko. Rseszow won their first head-to-head game 3-2 after a struggle. While Olstyn play their best at home, and while Rseszow are still not convincing, I expect and even game and that Olstyn will win a set here. While the odds on the set and the over on overall number of points, which are also good bets, I decided for the over handicap of points, which can be a dangerous bet, but I am betting on it because we have a better odds. Molfetta got to the playoff easily again, and are waiting for a home match where they can surprise the best teams in the league. They lost the first quarterfinal match 3-0 to Trentino, but that was one of their worst matches this season, especially for the opposite Hernandez Ramos who's one of the best on the position. Now they have a nice chance to complicate this. Kaziyski is back for Trentino after a failed mission in Japan, and played really well the first match back, so Djuric and Lanza's absence wasn't noticed. Trentino aren't that strong away, so this will be completely different than the first match because Molfetta will show what they're made of. I've lost this over this season already when Molfetta have beaten Trentino 3-0 despite being the underdog. I don't expect them to win, but I'm sure we'll see four sets, which should more than cover over this margin. Details

Rzeszow ended the two-game losing run against Warszawska. They struggled but still won in straight sets. Finally, they are set to play home today but looking at the whole season, they do not deserve to have the -2,5 handicap against a team as powerful as Czarni. The visitors were sitting top table in the Plus League for a while, which they lost as expected since they were on a tough schedule. They're still high up, only 4 points shrot of the second spot. Czarni beat 4 out of the last 5 games. That means they're in fine form. Rzeszow had a good lead in the fourth set of the first head-to-head and had a chance to win 3-1. However, Czarni made a comeback and won 3-2. I expect the home team to struggle. This is kind of a derby match since the visitors still have a chance to finish in spot 2. Modena lost to Padova in the last round of regular season. But, it was so insignificant that they played it with subs and some players who normally don't even sit on the bench. The first set, which MOdena played with top player was won by them 25-17. They can focus on playoffs only after getting knocked out of Champions League. They have a winning mentality, as the Italian Cup confirmed this season. Petric is still out but MOdena are materia for the top spot, even though they finished regular season as the runner-ups. There's not enough praise for what Bruno and Lucas are doing there and Burno and Ngapeth play such an attractive game that sees fans create brilliant atmosphere. Warszawska played a decent season so far, and could end up higher than the 9th place. The experienced setter Zagumny is their basis, he's been an irreplaceable member for the Polish national team for a long time. They're in a really good form right now, they've won four of the last five matches. The only home match they've lost 0-3 was to Zaksa, but look at how Zaksa is doing in the Plus league this year. Rzeszow are coming here after losing two matches. Let's say we forgive them losing to Zaksa, but we can't do it for their defeat against Cuprum, 3-0. They're lucky that their rivals aren't really playing well, either, so they're still in for the important second place of the regular part. They've got a lot of problems this year, they accepted organizing F4 in the Champions League ebcause they know how hard it would be to get placed to F4 through the Top12 playoff this year. They aren't a team who can have -25 sets in an away match against a host as good as Warszawska. I already said a lot about Cuprum, who have confirmed their quality last round where they beat Rzeszow last round. They are in finr form, they're rested and will once again be a tough opponent. Gdansk have had a long trip to Kazan, where they played with their top team even though the domestic championship is their priority. Zenit beat them easily in straight sets and Gdansk are now to face another tough team. They do much better home and this game isn't happening at the best of times for them either. Arkas lost the first match in straight sets but that was a very bad performance on their part and some stupid mistakes decided each set. Things are a bit different no since the pressure has been lifted. They didn't play the Turkish championship last round, they can attack the Italians full-speed and Rouzier needs to make amends for the last game. He is one of the best opposites in the country. The odds at total points here are not much worse than the odds at Arkas getting a set, I decided on this bet since it can also go in three sets. Macerata are in great form but they have a tough schedule ahead and this game is a chance for the coach to make some changes to the lineup after winning two sets. He will probably not make any such changes in the derby match against Trentino even though they already secured the top spot. Arkas should do better than in the first game today. Torres is great as opposite, and the rest of the team is also good right now. Their main problem is inconsistency, but they always played well as underdogs, also against the best teams in the league. Ravena lost the chance for 2-0 lead in the first game, and then Modena won 3-1 after a great battle. Modena are going through a rough period right now, they have a difficult fixture schedule and after the Cup win, they lost 3 out of five games. They lost the top spot in the championship, and now Trentino are right behind them, they are very dangerous and could take the second position from them. All of this is bad for Modena, because on Thursday they have a Champions League return fixture against Halbank, who easily defeated them in Ankara, so they cannot be calm in this game either because they need points to keep the second position.
