When we take a look at the results this season, we ca see those were tough wins. Guimaraes has been at the top for years now. They're very uncomfortable opponents. After a weak start of the season they brought in a new coach Sergio Conceciao. He has shown that he's young and ambitious, but also good. He did a good job in Academica and Braga, and now he has been given a chance in Guimaraes.     Koper played better after the coach change, regardless of the defeat in Zavrce. At Domzale they hit a goalpost, and the opposing goalkeeper was one of the best players, if not the best one, of the match. In the end, the referee's decisions weren't in their favor and they were denied a penalty. They played well, but they got nothing for it. They are usually much stronger at home and I expect the new coach to earn his first win. The away team won the first and second round matches 1-0. They haven't won since then, they scored only 3 goals. Their reality is the relegation battle. Another problem for them is bench width, that is, lack of players for rotation. Fatigue is slowly setting in, especially because they are playing a match every three days. I expect the home team to win. Details

    Atletico have been playing home matches great for years. Rare are the teams who don't lose here, and I'm sure Las Palmas won't be one of those. Aletico lost Turan, but got a lot of new players. What's most important, they got Jackson Martinez from Porto. He's a player born to score, and I hope he'll fit right with Griezman and the rest of the team. Vietto, Carrasco, Oliver Torres also came, and Filipe Luis came back to the defense. They're a really great team. Las Palmas played the second league last year, but despite a few known names, I doubt they can do much here. The team leader is Juan Carlos Valeron who turned 40 already. He can play the second league all right, but this will be too much for him. He'll be useful against weaker teams at home, but could be a disadvantage today. I expect Atletico to win today. Details

    The difference in quality is huge here. Rudar lost a lot of players just before the start of the season and won the one game against Domzale. They got very lucky in it as Domazle played better. Rudar are still nothing special and their game is still not good. Maribor's coach got sacked last week following a defeat to Olimpija, meaning former assistant coach Gajser is too be in charge of the team today. Everyone at the club says this is sort of a fresh start after the got knocked out of Champions League and a few other bad results in the new season. There is motivation for Maribor in this game. In fact, all that the're talking about is a win. I've decided on the regular bet on their win even though I would not be surprised if they win by more than one goal. Details

    This is the second leg game of the Spanish Supercup. The first-leg finished with a sensational 4-0 win for Athletic. But, if there's a team capable of making a comeback from such deficit, it's Barcelona. It's tough to believe in them but they can score 4-5 goals in each game. A fierce attack on Bilbao's goal from the start is expected since Barca need a 4-0 or greater win. But, Bilbao have great players and will be dangerous from set-pieces and counter attacks. Barca conceded 8 goals in their two games of this season - 4 to Sevilla and 4 Athletic. I expect Athletic to score a goal and that this will be a very productive game.     Defending champions are the team to bet on here. Maribor are in a minor crisis but they know how to get out of it. We have to say that they were the better opponent in Kopar but still lost 2-1. I expect a different story now tht they face Celje home. I don't think Celje can get even a point against Maribor at this moment in this bad time for the visitors. They were great last year, they were a good surprise and a good-quality team. They lost some players and it's only obvious now that Verbic was very valuable. Some other players left, the current lineup is not in form and they're playing badly. They have a young team that will have trouble dealing with Maribor. They have no wins in 4 rounds, they are no longer in Europe and can focus on the league. They have much more quality and experience than the inexperienced Celje. I find it really tough to believe that Celje can finish this bad streak today. They need to look for points in other games. Details

    I do not understand this margin. It's 2.5 but I would go even lower than that. This will definitely be a cautious game. I've watches the Domzale-Rudar game and so did Krka's coach. He will know what to do. He will park the bus and then wait for his chance. Domzale will have possession but they do not play well against defense. They didn't have a single good shot from the field against Rudar. They were the better opponent three times, constantly playing on Rudar's half. The opponents scored from their first shot when the ball accidentally ended up in the goal. They are now set to face Krka, the team that will defend. That is why I expect very little goals and very little attempts. Even if someone takes the lead, I don't expect the other team to fall apart. Domzale won 1-0 away against Krka last year by scoring in the last minute. Krka won the other game 3-2. All the goals were scored either from set-pieces or from a distance of 30 meters. If things go normally today, this will definitely be an under. This year Domzale were in under 3 our of 4 times and so did Krka. Details

    Krško were honest after losing to Maribor: We've played the way we can, but the difference in quality is too big, and that's all we can do. Now they're coming home where they beat Koper and Celje 1-0. They were the weaker opponents in those matches, but had luck. Now they'll host Olimpija. A team with the new coach, president, and much better roster. Koper and Celje played Europe, were worn out, were playing in a bad form, and Krško surprised them. I don't think anything like that will happen today. Olimpija will be very dangerous in an away match. They ended at 0-0 against Zavrč this season, but they shot the goal post twice, and just didn't have luck. They've got great players and will definitely attack today. I expect them to create lots of chances, and use them to get these important three points. Details

    Domžale have a very good team, and after two away wins, they have to show good game at home, as well. They lost to Maribor 0-1 in the first home match, but Maribor weren't the better opponent then. They've got a lot of quality, including the new forward Antonio Mance who played his first match last week, and scored his first goal after a few minutes. The home team can use all his players, and now they'll host Rudar. Rudar are bad this season, they played three matches and lost them all. They lost a lot of players, got some new one, but there's no quality, at least not right now. They're pretty weak defensively, and will have to defend themselves today. They'll rise as the season goes on, but it's hard to expect them to do anything today against an opponent this good. Unlike them, Domžale played three tough opponents (Koper, Maribor and Olimpija), and got 6 points. Rudar played against three weaker opponents (Krka, Zavrč, and Gorica), and got no points. If everything goes as it should, Domžale should easily win this, because they're just better. And most importantly, in a much better form. Details

    Maribor aren't in the best period, that's clear. Krško are definitely in the best period in the club history. This doesn't make this one seem like a good pick, but you have to know the difference in quality between these two. Maribor played the Champions League last year, and are now focused on the national championship. Maribor get a lot of criticism, and they need something to quieten it down. They'll play this in front of their own fans, against a rookie in the first league. They've got some injured players, but that doesn't matter, they've got 20 good players total. Krško played the first two matches at home against Celje and Koper, and won both, 1-0. Those matches were accompanied with euphoric feelings of 2000 viewers, which is a lot for this small club. That was a fanatic show by Krško, and it won't happen in an away match. We should point out that Koper shot the goalpost twice, and Celje scored a goal from the offside, which was annulled for no reason. That was a lot of luck for Krško. This time, Maribor will bite for 90 minutes, Krško will be playing away for the first time, and they should see where they belong, in the relegation zone. I expect 3-4 goals difference for Maribor.
