The semi-finals of the playoffs is at three wins. The first two matches are at home of the better team from the basic part of the season. In this duel that's Pogon Szczecin. With yesterday's win (23-20), Pogon took the lead 1-0 in these semi-finas series, and today they're already up for the second match at the same turf. The conclusion from yesterday was that Pogon were "luckier" than the better team. The home team only twice had +2 during the entire 60 minutes, and in the finish they reached the +3. Vistal had the result control for most of the match, they had more tries but also more errors, which cost them the win in the end. In general, Vistal are a team in top shape, with six tied wins, and up until this match their record was 12 wins and only one defeat in the last two months, in the championship and in the cup. At the same period Pogon were defeated three times, and twice against Vistal. Last week Visla won the title in the POlish Cup, after beating the defending champions Lublin (24-21), in the finals they were better than their rivals in these semi-finals of the playoffs. They beat Pogon with the convincing 26-21, and at half-time it was 13-9. At this final tournament goalkeeper Gapska and right back Kobylinska dominated. Yesterday they weren't themselves. After yesterday's game the total record in duels is 2-2 in the regular part of the season. Pogon won at home with 22-21, Vistal Gdynia replied with 27-26. With two wins and two minimum defeats in the season, with good individual solutions and better shape, Pogon will hardly win two days in a row.
