Zvonareva has already played 5 matches this season and as she admitted, that means a lot. She's got plenty of room for progress and I'm sure she'll be getting better as time goes by. Shvedova won the national team match by three games and even she lost a set. Wang played quite a few matches for the national team week, which cannot be good since she's not used to it. She did 4 singles matches, one doubles (retired 3 games in), and cancelled another one the next day. Plus, Wang played in the cold conditions in Guangzhou and has to adjust to very hot weather and high humidity. Adaptaion won't be easy, we know how players do when arriving to such different conditions this late. I think Wang will be no exception. Zvonareva had more time for adjustment, she's much better than Wang, has good record here and I'm sure will record an easy win.
