Kuznetsova didn't beat Siniakova here, but in the preview we said her game style doesn't suit her. Siniakova is a passive player, but Kuznetsova has rhythm, and won after two sets. Stephens is raising her game level, and that's visible on this tournament. Today I expect that to continue. She can stand up to Kuznetsova in any way, from the serve to exchanges. Stephens is also in front of her home fans. If you ask me, she's a lot closer to winning than Kuznetsova.
