Fournier hopes for a fast goal

The Cameroonian goalkeeper N'Dy Assembe who had serious blunders at Nancy will debut today on the goal of Guingamp

This is a new opportunity for the offensive of Reims to prove themselves. The team of coach Fournier started the championship above all expectations. They spent the week at sixth place but the improving results were made with cautious approach to counterattacks. In the only easier test they were similarly stopped by Nantes.

Next week is very risky for them, with an away match in Bordeaux and a home match with Monaco - if they don't win against Guingamp they could quickly drop on the table. Fournier announced the strongest lineup and attacking from the start.

 - The game was balanced and a draw is a fair outcome. I would have loved for us to be more decisive but I will not nitpick. We found the strength to return, the approach was excellent - said the coach Gourvennec.

At Reims they have a long tradition of failures. Last time they celebrated in 1985. Meanwhile, they had only two draws in 11 matches.

The defender Pereira served his suspension but in the meantime he got injured so on the right side there will be the young Sankoh. The goalkeeper Samassa will also be missing and he will be substituted by the former Nancy goalkeeper N'Dy Assembe.

Reims failed their first offensive test against Nantes, but I believe they will have less problems here. Their reinforcements have had three weeks to get into the shape, the last season's top scorer Courtet started getting into the form and I expect him to cause more problems against weak Guingamp, especially on the left where the inexperienced Sankoh will be guarding excellent Atar.
The away team were good at Saint-Etienne and Paris but they put all their energy into defense and still lost. They will show a bit more ambition here and this might be their mistake.
The home team have more quality, experience, they are in better form and have a better head-to-head ration, I feel that this is a good enough reason to go for 2.19.
