After losing the derby match, Videoton have a much easier task

Kecskemeti haven't won in the last five rounds, and last weekend they've lost 5-2 at home after leading 2-0

Videoton are in a dead heat with Debrecen for the championship title in Hungary. Only Ferencvaros can come between those two teams.

That's why it's important for Videoton, Hungary's wealthiest club, to get back on the right track as soon as possible. They suffered an embarrassing loss in a derby match against Debrecen last weekend. It's no surprise, seeing as they never achieve good results there. They went into the lead in the 51st minute, but Debrecen reversed and eventually won 2-1.

Now they have a much easier task and they're huge favorites against Kecskemeti. They're after their fifth consecutive win on their home ground. In their last three matches, the goal difference was 9-1 in favor of Videoton.

- We shouldn't delve on Debrecen any longer. That's behind us. I feel we're stronger than ever and we just have to keep playing well. Kecskemet are not an easy opponent. It's going to be a difficult match because everyone plays defensively against us. But we should be able to win on our home ground, and we'll try to score as many goals as we possibly can in case we need a good goal difference at the end of the season - said Videoton midfielder Balazs Toth.

Kecskemeti had a great start. They beat Honved at home and Kaposvar away. But then they had a streak of five rounds without a win. Last weekend they played at home and had a 2-0 lead at half-time against Pecs. In the end, they lost 5-2.

- The situation is not ideal. It's not easy to play against Videoton after a defeat like that one. But we've worked hard this week to get back on the right track. Apart from training, we've also talked a lot to improve the atmosphere in the team. Things are good now and we'll do everything we can to make Videoton's job harder. However, I'll stand by our attacking play. It'll be interesting to see how my team reacts. I hope collectiveness, organization and discipline will prevail - says visiting team's coach Balazs Beko.

Videoton is financially the most potent Hungarian club, and it's clear that they've set their sights solely on the title. Last week they lost away to their main rivals Debrecen and now are fully motivated to get back to winning ways. They will have an ideal opponent to bounce back against. Kecskemeti like to play an open game of football, although they are not very successful at it. Last week they ended up with five goals in their net after taking a 2-0 lead, and they announced they will play attacking football today against a powerful opposition. This approach could see them get thrashed by Videoton as well.
