Stord's team has changed a lot since last season. They had high hopes before the season, and the way things look now, they can still achieve their goals. They opened the season by losing at home vs OIF, but that can be attributed to lack of coordination. They went on to score 4 victories and a defeat at home after that. That means their only defeat was vs Fyllingen, and after penalties too. Gjeitrem missed a shot for the win in that game, and it ended 24-24. To lose a derby in such a manner was rather stressful for the home team, so now everything is focused on winning this and getting revenge. They do have the guns for it, as Knudsen is the second best scorer of the league and a man who can decide the game. As the away team's defense is not up to much, I don't believe they can stop him. They also have Eriksen and Gjeitrem, both excellent players and important links in the team. Gjeitrem is celebrating his birthday today, so there will be plenty of motive. This is also the last game in this calendar year for him, so he will pour his soul out on the court. The home court atmosphere, only one defeat in regular time, tremendous motive and a quality offense of the home team are the arguments leading me today. Along with all that, Stord are two points ahead of Fyllingen, making this an excellent chance to take off a bit. A safer option would be to take +0.5 on Stord that bet365 has, just in case another tie happens, but I will take this, more accessible option.
