Lahti in great shape, Jaro are terrible

If we don't count the match against Helsinki, Lahti have been on a five-round winning streak, which is exactly the number of times Jaro were defeated

Lahti have played great lately. In the last five matches, they celebrated four times and lost only once, to Helsinki who grind their opponents in a handicap. The win in Myllykoski in the final round is of great significance because it left Juha Malinen's team with the chance to win the third place.

In order for Lahti to reach that goal, they would need to win all the way through. Given their current shape, it's not impossible, and the following game will be easy, at least on paper.

- Jaro beat us 7-1 in the last meeting. We can't stay indifferent to that result and we're taking our revenge. They're a good team, organized, aggressive, but I believe we have more quality - said Lahti's coach Juho Malinen.

From today on, they won't be able to count on quite a lot of players, but most have been gone for a longer period. It's worth saying that defender Aho and midfielder Klin aren't at disposal and the first scorer Rafael is returning after a three-game suspension.

Jaro have continued to line up weak results. After four consecutive draws, they're currently on a five-defeat streak without any signs of improvement. Their goal, survival, was reached a long time ago and basically don't have anything left to play for and can't move from their current position.

The positive thing for the guests is that their players have been returning one by one. Surprisingly, Brunell played against Mariehamn and only Kujala and Skrabb remain outside the team. They haven't played any role this season.

There is not much to say here. We have a usual match of a team that is in excellent shape against a team who loses everything.
