Stats-wise, this margin is set good but the stats conceal a lot here. Stafa lost all 11 games, most of them early on, which resulted in blow-outs. Things should be different today as this is one of the best chances for them to get some points. Even though that probably won't happen, I don't think Basel will settle this early one, especially since they struggle quite a lot away. Stafa's home games finished with a lot of goals after getting settled early on but the one against Bern finished at 50 because they stayed close for quite a long time. Most importantly, they played Fortitudo at 45 in the Cup, the one game Stafa won. In other words, as long as they would stay close, their home games would finish at about 25 goals per half. I expect the same today. The away games are not very significant due to those blow-outs. The game in Basel was like that as well - 11 goals were scored in the last 10 minutes after 47 were scored in the first 50 mins. Basel are very good in defense, which they don't always show away. But we have to say that their away games were tough. The game in Luzern last Friday was a step in the right direction. Basel played Kriencns at 52 goals after Kriens played all the previous ones at close to 60. Basel are the favorite today and their home games would stay at 50 or so goals, except the one against Stafa. I don't' expect a convincing win today. When Stafa would stay close, their games would finish at 45, 47 and 50, which is what I expect today. Basel don't' have an offense capable of hitting over 30 and I think this is more likely to finish at 30-20 than at 35-25.
