A win of last-placed Jelenja Gora against defending champions Lublin seems like an 'impossible mission', but there are some reasons for which I believe the handicap margin is missed by at leas goal or two. This is Lublin's fourth game in 12 days, four of their players didn't travel here due to injuries: Niedzwiedz, Syncerz, Quintino and Repelewska, three of them are starters, and Drabik and Skrzyniarz played only one game after the long break. Next week they have the game of the season against first-placed Szczecin and according to Lublin's coach, Wlodek, they are already focused on that game: 'We willtry and focus on this game, but the fact is that Szczecin is subconsciously in our minds. We played a lot of games in this period, we are trying to catch our breath, we're having some injury problems so those players who haven't played a lot will get a chance in this game'.
On the other side, Jelenja Gora earned their first points this season on Wednesday. After a 14 game losing streak, they earned a sensational win in Gdansk (31-26) and announced that they will try hard to win more points. That will hardly happen in today's game, but they have nothing to lose here, they will play without pressure and try to get the maximum out against favored away team who are not complete. Jelenja Gora lost all seven home games, but they lost by more than 10 goals only once. Against leaders Pogon they lost by three goals (20-23), to second-placed Zaglebie by 9 (22-31).
