Macerata are being unjustly underrated today like SKRA were last week. SKRA do deserve to be the favorite since they gave the Italians a lesson in volleyball last week but I cannot agree with the margin bookies came up with. Macerata played what was probably their worst match of the season. They couldn't do anything right while SKRA, lead by Conte and Wlazly, punished every one of their mistakes. I think this will be a much closer match, especially since the visitors will have Kurek, their top receiver keen on doing well before 13,000 thousand fans of his former club. The team is completely different with Kurek and without him. Their attacking gets much more dangerous with him on and SKRA will have a much tougher time defending. SKRA need to sets to get through and they have a great derby match with Resovia that will decide who gets top spot and home court advantage in the playoff. I find it hard to believe that the second h2h could also end in straight sets. Macerata would always prevail after losing the first home match and they won't be giving up today. The home team will want those two sets and I think the margin is quite low and the will go over it in 4 sets. Details

This match is really important for both teams, and I definitely can't agree with the margin set. Samotlor lost only two out of nine matches in 2015, and their momentum is great to achieve big things. I don't understand these odds because I expected at least 1.70 at Macerata for a few reasons. The most important one is that Belchatow seem like a more complete team and that Kurek is set to miss this game. Macerata struggled enough in the group and don't see as good, while SKRA dominated the group, dominate the Plus League and as coach Falasca said, will now focus on Champions league. The Italian side is better only at middle blocker position. SKRA are better in every other segment. This will most definitely be a tough match but Macerata are playing home and that is their only advantage. SKRA have enough quality and experience to get two sets or even to win, I think. I think Fakel are really underestimated today, especially since Loko wasn't that brilliant lately. In a way, this will be a revue match for Loko, they have theoretical chance for the third place, and the teams behind them can hardly catch up with them.
