    Ugra are doing horribly lately, they are on a 5-game losing run (never lost by under two goals), which saw it all. They never scored more than a goal in the last 4 games and have now lost the forwards Rassakazov and Sitnikov, who are injured. They are hit by injuries more than others, especially in offense because they don't have a lot of players to choose from and the offense is second-worst in the league, which is more than obvious now that their top scorer Gusev let them go. Ugra are out of the playoff zone as expected and they will stay there. On the other hand, Medvescak beat two powerful teams and want to keep that going. They will be in the tough battle for playoffs and every point counts. I think this is a chance cannot miss out on. They are much better than the home team in defense lately, they are tough and focused and have the better goalie. Their offense is also better and more precise and is at the end complete, unlike the home team's offense, which is without an entire line since the match in Zagreb. That game finished at 6-6 but that cannot happen again. Both teams say they will play a cautious game with a lot of counter-attacks. Medvescak stands a much better chance of winning such a game, their goalie is better and their offense is much better than the home team's. Ugra's offense is lacks creativity and struggles with injuries, on top of everything. Details

    After last season when they won the title, and defeated Bern 4-0 in the semi-final, Davos are in the top again. They are back in form with three straight wins, and they won six out seven last home games and Davos are aiming for the highest achievements once again, but also profiling themselves as one of the best teams in the league. They have the worst opponents for Bern this season because they easily defeated them twice 3-1 and 5-2 so it is clear who is having a better season, the home team are nine points ahead. Bern should have been much better but injuries stopped them from that. Ebett, Kobashew, Smith, Rufenacht, Scherwey are out, they are all important forwards, and they are also missing defender Untersander and first goalie Buhrer for whom the season is over so they are down to not as good Schwender. Regardless of Bern's latest wins, latest of which in the Cup against lover league team and against last placed Langnau yesterday, they are in a much worse position here than Davos. Bern played the Cup three days ago, yesterday a difficult game against the last placed team which hits them even hardest because they have narrow rotation due to injuries. The home team had a whole weak to prepare for this game, they are more rested and more prepared than their opponents who clearly suit them this year and who are facing serious roster problems.     Half of the season is over, and SKA are out of the playoffs zone, but that will surely change as the season moves on. Currently betting on SKA pay out because they're a very powerful team, the current champions have a big motive to play as best as they can which will definitely show against teams like these. SKA are in excellent shape despite the last defeat against Kazan where they played pretty good and feisty, and with such a match they can win here with a couple of goals of difference. Lada is weak this season, as was expected. They're one place before the last in the league which is in accordance to their team and financial possibilities. They are in a four-game losing run and they stand almost no chances for the playoffs. This season SKA already beat Lada who are entering this match without their best scorer Shenfeld, an important defender Floor, and recently they lost defender Belov who was one of the rare defenders with a positive +/- record in Lada, and that could all be felt in the last round in the home defeat against Spartak. SKA a month ago and SKA today are not the same team. The away team have woken up, brought the young talent Gusev, a great world defender Voynov and they're returning to the top. They're playing at their highest level in the last five matches which is proven by the wins against the strong Barys and Dynamo Moscow. They're very motivated and they shouldn't have any problems here. SKA are miles away from Lada. Besides, they're the KHL champions, one of the best European teams, and hungry for some wins. Details

    The difference between these teams is that is slowly finding form and the other one does nothing and doesn't cease to disappoint. Karlskrona won only 2 out of 20 games this season. They are 1-for-9 home after losing all 4 games after the break. Both teams got into top division this season but the difference is in the money aspect of things. Malmo are much better in that department and have come up with a much better team that recorded two wins after the break and lost to Vaxy and Orebro, the two top teams of this season. Malmo are 11 points ahead and seem to be doing much better in defense, not counting the last game. They are very motivated and say this game is very important to them since they still have a chance to fight for the playoff. Malmo already won this season here after scoring 7 goals and a lot will be on their side here. The performances during this season and the game lately are better on Malmo. They have a better quality, more experience, a better goalies. I think they will win today.     Nitra dominated Pestany in two duels this season. It was 1-4 here, and they won 6-3 at home a month ago. No coincidence, they're the opposites. Piestany's fall began last season when they were the eighth, and Nitra are the top of Slovakian hockey in the last four seasons. They're the favorites for the title this year, especially after their latest reinforcements. Ruckay (23 goals), their key player last season, came back by the end of October, and they brought the experienced Canadians, Blackwater and Lalibert. Those three improved already great game Nitra are playing, they started the championship well. A great intro for this match are their two wins against the best two teams of the league, proving their form. Piestany lost their best scorer Balaj (9 goals) because he got injured playing for the national team, and Nitra gave them Saliji, a forward they don't need anymore. That only proves the difference of power in these two teams. The home team didn't have the best start. After beating the weak Skalica, they were beaten at home by the weak Žilina and conceded six goals by B. Bystrica. Nitra's got everything going for them - quality, h2h, experience, so this is a bet you shouldn't miss out on today. Details

    I think the odds here are higher than the realistic situation. Khimik's offense scored only 29 goals in 19 matches so far, or in translation, only 1,5 per game, and they went over this margin only once this season, counting in overtime because they are included in this bet. During the break, one of home team's best forwards, Korotkovich, has left to Brest. So the situation is clear with the home team. Brest have been in this under 11/20 this season and I won't run from that, but there are two groups of clubs in the Belorussian championship, stronger ones that are fighting for the title, and weaker ones fighting for the play-off. Brest and Khimik belong to the second group, which is led by Brest and it makes no sense to favor the home team in this way. It is better and more realistic to look at Brest's games against teams that are in the second part of the table where they limited their opponents to less than 2,5 goals in all 8 games played, and that is a relevant information. On top of everything, Brest are currently positioned better than the home team, they play better than Khimik whose only forte is defense and they play exclusively with a defensive tactic. Their first head-to-head game this season finished 1-1 in regular time, nothing has changed significantly since than so these odds have great value. Details

    There's absolutely no reason to favor Jyvaskyla like this because they're struggling with injuries and probably less have chances to win this. Seven of their players are injured, and Tuppuraien, who's really important, is still suspended. Out of seven, three of their five most efficient players are included, that is, those who scored 16 of their 46 goals this season. They were beaten 3-0 by KooKoo in the last round, and KooKoo aren't known for being great. What's important is that these two teams are the same when they're complete, neither have been brilliant this season, and the difference on the league table is caused by Espoo having played two matches less. The Blues showed they're waking up in the last round by beating TSP in an away match, and then they got through to the CL quarterfinal by beating the Swedish HV. That really boosted their confidence and helped them let out their frustration for playing the first part of the season badly. Espoo are a team for the top 6 of the Finnish league, just like the home team, and that will only motivate them more. So, Espoo got the form and the rhythm on their side, and Jyvaskyla are without eight players, so these odds aren't realistic. Another important thing, the guests won the first duel this season when JYP were almost complete, so this is at least a 50-50 duel. We definitely recommend betting on final or regular win by the guests, but all three options have a significant value. Details

    Korea are way underestimated here, and I don't see why. The odds are 1.50 for Poland, and that's not realistic, these two teams aren't so different, I'd even say the Koreans are better. First of all, Poland are the 22nd and Korea 23rd team of the world. Poland lost to Slovenia yesterday, should've been more convincing, but this Slovenia team are far from their best lineup. The Koreans took Austria to overtime and played a great game, so I thought that would even out the odds for this match. The home team are the best of the Polish league, Cichy got the citizenship and the 35 y.o. Danton, which I don't understand because he's fighting with half the team. The Koreans are here with their best lineup, the one that got them back to the second rank of the world hockey, and they've got naturalized players who can make a difference, so I don't see how Poland should win this, at least not in 60 minutes. These teams played in a similar schedule last season, Korea won 6-3. The guests are playing the Asian league that's getting better, and shouldn't be underestimated. they're fast and not anonymous as they're made out to be. This is an even match where Korea definitely have a chance, so covering two outcomes for these odds is not to be missed today. Details

    This is not a close game in which the home team have a slightly better chance of winning because these teams are not the ones from last season. The odds have been far too influenced by the last season in which Gentofte played a minor part. This season, they've got a team for the upper part of the table, while Aalborg, on the other hand, have the youngest team in the league. They are second to last after 12 games with only 2 wins, one of which is against the direct rivals. Gentofte have 11 points more than the home team (played two games less). They conceded 20 goals less in this short period of time and beat the home team two weeks ago in regulation time home. Aalborg don't have a single forward who's older than 23, while Gentofte have experience in offense and a much greater quality. On top of being better at each position, they have a better goalie, who is at 93%, compared to home team's Lundell 87%. The current form goes in favor of this bet as well since the home team have 4 defeats in the last 4 games, while Gentofte have 4 straight wins (the last two against one of top teams (Frederikshavn). This is not a close match because these two teams are at completely different levels. Details

    The home team have suffered 12 back-to-back defeats and only one win in the fourteen games this season, and they lost to Ajoie 6-2 a month ago in the first league game, and 6-1 in pre-season. So the stats are an ally of this prediction, but the circumstances are even more so. Their 'older brother' Zurich's goalie is injured and their both goalkeepers are currently in their camp, and they are down to Guntern/Zurrer duo who are inexperienced and lack confidence even for this level. Another bonus is the fact that Zurich are also playing today so there will be no changes in that aspect of the game today. Lions definitely deserve to be where they are, because they are not playing well, especially in the defense where they have been horrible and they concede 5 goals per game, and they also have the worst offense in the league. With all that, they are also having problems with injuries, so they cannot count on Peter and Kircher, while does that played well at the start of the season have already been moved to Zurich (Neunschwander, Hachler). There are no signs that their performances might improve, they are simply not working, and in the last 10 games, they suffered only 2 defeats by less than three goals.     I think this should be set at least as a 50-50 game if not with the home team as favorites to some extent. ut the last two Dinamo's wins (draws) clearly make the wrong impression. The team from Belarus is still without the top two forward line and to make matters even worse, Gavrus got injured in the last game. He is very important in this kind of a situation since he's fifth best scorer on the team. Some young players were there to stand up for those who are out but they started getting injured as well. Things are quite bad, especially because they lost the coach before this road trip. Amur are more than capable of taking advantage of that regardless of their slip in the final round. They beat CSKA two rounds ago and the offense-oriented Barys the round before. Amur have four wins in the last 5 home games. Teams much better than Dinamo have struggled here in the past. Amur are very competitive, disciplined and hard-working and have one of the top defenses in the league. Both teams play similar roles in their respective conferences and these odds would be okay if Dinamo were complete. But without so many players and with all the problems, I don't think they can do something here since the home team play a very physical game. This is the 5th straight road game for the Minsk team and the 5th game in 10 days. They probably cannot be at 100% today since fatigue was a big problem even in the last round. Amur beat Dinamo in preseason and obviously have what it takes to beat them again. The value in these odds is significant. Details

    Both teams played three matches over in ten matches played, 70% of today's option being successful. Both teams pay a lot of attention to the defense, so Linz end their matches with 4.2 goals per match, and Villach 4.5, definitely not in line with the odds offered today. The home team have the best goalie of the league, Ouzas, with 94.5% saves at home, and only one over in five home matches, it was against the weak Graz. Villach are a stronger, tougher team who are a bit more defensive when playing away, and still didn't play an over in four away matches so far. They're also the second best penalty kill team with 92%. Linz aren't bad either, 89%.     Of all KHL teams, Dynamo had the most injuries to deal with. THe forwards Kukalov, Drozd, Vesce and Linglet got injured before, and now their best player and scorer Ellison is out because he had a baby. Cheechoo got injured in Moscow. So, they're without four out of their six best forwards, scorers who scored 23 of 43 goals this season. The worst part is that Torpedo are tough at hoe, and conceded only 10 goals in eight matches. It's obvious why they're in such a great position today. The home team have been great this season, with only two home defeats, and are holding the fourth place of the West. They're also in a great form, and have beaten Barys, Omsk and CSKA in an away match (1-4). There's no doubt that they can beat the decimated Dynamo. Dynamo's last two matches show it's not easy to play with half of your offense missing - they only scored one goal in those two. Torpedo brought great reinforcements, they're an elite team who play great at home, and they're definitely able to take advantage of this situation, being that they're a better team than Dynamo even when Dynamo are complete.     I don't understand why the odds are so high for something that happens 70% of the season, but that applies to both sides. The overtimes aren't calculated into this bet, so without counting the goals from those, Ugra went over this margin in 5 of 19 matches, and Amur conceded over two goals in five of 17 matches. Yes, Ugra are high up on the league table right now, but it's an illusion to think they'll stay there, and even more so to think they've got the quality for it. They are the ones with the negative goal difference in this situation. They score two goals per match, and went to three only once in the last six, staying at the zero twice, and twice at one goal, so it's clear how they win their matches - with the defense. Another interesting statistic is that the home team shoot to the goal only 22 times per match, not enough, and less than their opponent today. Also, the guests are in the top 10 defenses this season, conceding two goals per match, and are also in the top five with their penalty kick (89%). Amur don't have offensive quality either, so they rely on their defense a lot, lead by the goalie Metsola who has the excellent 93.5% saves, one of the best in the league. Also, Ambur have a great defensive form, and didn't concede over two goals in the last six matches, including two when they had a shut out, and three where they left their opponent with a single goals scored. Both teams are playing defensively, and the odds are overblown for Ugra, because they're a team on the same level as Amur, and can deal with them. So, the under for the home team is a great pick because the odds defy statistics, and Ugra's game. They don't crush their opponents. Also, the home team's fourth scorer of the season is injured, Medvedev (4+2). Details

    The guest team's older sibling, Zurich, are playing the Champions League today, so the B team, GCK Lions, remain in the shadows, and give away their two best players, Foucault and Sorvik. Despite being the best players, they're also the most experienced ones. Without them, this team's age average goes under 20, the least in the league. Their youth isn't surprising because they're only an affiliate team for Zurich who have been one of the worst teams of the league in the last two seasons. They currently hold the last place of the league table with a humble offensive effect which will only get worse today, without Foucault and Sorvik in the powerplay. But, that's not the end of their problems because Zurich's goalie got injured, and they had to lend their goalie, too. Their goal will now be tended by the inexperienced Guntern, and that can only bring more insecurity in the defense, who already concede 4.5 goals per match. Thurgau aren't much better than the Lions on the league table, but they've got one win more and score a goal more per match. They're also much more experienced (about 1600 NLA and NLB matches more). The home team managed to get to the playoffs in the last seasons, they're a better team, and they also played the last two matches at home, winning convincingly. With three key players missing, the guests are definitely handicapped, and the home team are definitely capable of using that to their advantage. Details

    Five of Alba's important players are out, and that influences their performance on ice a great deal. No surprise at four back-to-back losses, and them playing badly both ways. As for the offense, two key players are missing, Banham and Saurer, as well as Bartalis. Two standard defensivemen who play a lot in every match are missing from the defense, Brocklehurst and Orban. They only had five defensivemen in the last duel in Salzburg, and conceded six goals (five in two previous ones). The coach is complaining, too, saying there's not much they can do right now.     Vityaz are being underestimated here, while Traktor did nothing to deserve respect. The home team have 9 wins in 13 games this season, with a very good game. They are now in top form, especially when ti comes to defense and goal keeper Sateri. They are good both in defense and offense. They beat Jokerit away, Riga and Torpedo, while losing to Medvescak, which could be the consequence of fatigue. Traktor did disappointingly but that's not a massive surprise because what you invest is what you get back. A lot on the team is not working well, the coach is close to getting sacked and they scored only one goal in the last 4 games. To make matters worse, top goal keeper is injured and Traktor definitely do not deserve to be this much trust. The home team are more confident, in better form and has more quality. The fact they play home is not bad either. Vityaz still didn't lose a game that didn't finish in regulation time and I trust them for a reason.     Even though these are two names that can be connected to the bottom of the Russian hockey, the situation has changed and Vitebsk have been much better than Mogilev for a year now. The home team are eternally last in the league, the same was last season in which Vitebsk made a step forward and with the seventh position entered the play-off. They a well a solidly done Cup behind them, in which they played against Gomel and Molodechn and confirmed that they could surprise this season. Even though their start of the season hasn't been the best, they have faced the best teams in the league, and you simply cannot expect them to achieve anything in such games. They surprised everyone by taking a point in an away game against powerful Yunost in the last round, which is a proof that they can do it and a great boost of confidence ahead of this prediction. The home team are falling apart in every aspect, they are being threatened with disqualification from the league because of financial issues, and on the other hand, they conceded 42 goals in six games, which is, I have to admit, rarely seen.     I simply do not understand why Kazan are still being treated like before just because of their name. I would understand that if they were a powerful team with players from last season and that the simply hit a bump on the road now. But that is simply not the case. Kazan are not doing well, especially in defense. They are not managing to get the game going and lost most of the key players from last seasons. On top of everything, team captain Svitov got injured and the situation is simply not the one in which they are with 50-50 chances against CSKA.
