Joventut played the last seven home matches with an under on this margin, and Valencia have 3 out of 5 unders, but also a lot bigger number when you take a look at the games they played against opponents similar to Joventut. These two teams like to play faster, but only when facing teams like Canarias or Laboral. Valencia won't be trying to run much today, they'll play the defense max, just like in away duels against Khimky or Lokomotiv when they ended the match in a huge under on this margin. I definitely don't see this game going over 155. Details

Betting on Laboral's under when they play at home might seem crazy, but I believe there are plenty of reasons for that today. It's obvious that Laboral play on a big number of points at home. They're fast, strong with offensive rebounds, and talented offensively. But today, they're playing without their wing (Bertans and San Emeterio injured), so according to the coach, the wing center Shengelia will fill that position, and that removes Laboral's danger from the back. That will slow down their game, and Zaragoza are excellent on set defense. They conceded over this margin only against Roma and Valencia in the last 12 away duels, because they played relaxed. Also, Laboral's offensive rebound shouldn't be so prominent today because Zaragoza have great centers who can match them well in that segment. Maybe even more importantly, Laboral conceded over 89 points in 5 out of the last 6 games, which clearly suggests there's trouble on the offensive end. Hats off to Murcia and them beating Real, but not every day is Friday. Murcia will become sober today, thanks to a team who definitely don't suit them in concept. Barcelona with Tomić, Pleiss, Lampe dominate the paint, and Lima and Lee won't have room there, to use their rebounds, Murcia's best weapon. Without their rebound, Murcia are really limited, and won't be able to deal with the guests' defense. I expect a rough game, Barca's win, and then this under seems like a best bet. Details

Now he won't do that with Nachbar because the Slovenian camps at the three-pointers, so Tomic will have a lot more freedom in the paint. Lastly, the match in of great importance, and each one like that coach Pascual played wit Tomic in game for around 30 minutes. All that calls for a bigger odds on this bet. The leading team are in trouble today. They're definitely missing Vasileiadis, and Granger, Toolson and Stefansson are also in question. This seems like a one way game. Gran Canaria are in great shape, demolishing Euroleague level teams at home in their last three games, and most importantly, showing improved defense. Now they're playing a game they're very motivated to win, against Manresa, a bottom ranked team who already suffered blowouts in away matches. There are a few reasons why I believe this bet is worth taking. Batista is definitely one of the most important players in his team. Lots of possessions go through him while he is on court, and offensively he is one of the best centers in the Euroleague. He does especially well when PAO play at home, scoring double digits in eight of their nine games in Athens. he showed how dangerous he is by scoring 15 in the first match in Madrid. However, by far the most important argument in favor of this bet is Real's defense on opposing team's centers. Some may have missed it, but the opposing centers score by far the most points against Real. Granca confirmed their good form on an away match in Zagreb where they crushed Cedevita. Now, they'll face a much harder opponent who is also in a good form, but there are a few reasons I think this handicap is a good option. First, Granca have Tavares who's strong and can deal with Bracelona's towers in the paint. Second, they're an extremely uncomfortable opponent to anyone when they play at home, and they rarely lose matches here. Third is that Granca's style definitely doesn't suit Barcelona. There's a lot of running, shots from fastbreaks, everything Real do and that Barcelona can't deal with. Not many European teams can match Barcelona in set basketball, but Granca definitely have a chance with their game style. Let's just mention that Navarro is out today, and he's an extremely important players in away matches like these. He showed it on Thursday because without him, Barcelona never would have defeated Panathinaikos. Granca are that level, give or take, and I think they'll definitely give the guests a hard time. Sevilla seem reborn since Luis Casimir started leading them. Lietuvos, Zaragoza, Valencia, and Bilbao were all defeated. They're all great European teams who are much better than Murcia. It all started when the coach was replaced, and the new one started emphasizing defense. The team accepted it without a glitch. They always had the talent and the quality, but now all those things are organized neatly. On the other hand, Murcia are completely out of form, they got five defeats in the last six matches, and always lost with this handicap. They're a team who have a lot of problems if their opponent stop their offensive rebounds, which the great Sevilla's centers will definitely do. Everything is on the home team's side, and I think Sevilla will win this convincingly. Details

Though Oly are the favored to win here, showing on several occasions that they have the game to take on Unicaja, I still think they're overrated here. Unicaja are improving in form, and though they're practically out of the Euroleague they're still motivated enough to play the best they can. They're not tired as they have an extremely fit and athletic team rotating 12 players, and we can expect another battle of a game, just like any of the previous duels these teams played over the last year and a half. Going over 80 points in their games is an accident, both Unicaja and Oly are teams preferring slow basketball, physically strong and playing amazing defense. There are a few reasons for me to go with this bet. First of all, there's the difference in quality that was not that obvious in the first match in Berlin because Barcelona had to do without Abrines, Navarro, and Oleson and were completely out of shape. I have to repeat some things I said in my tips from the first part of the season when I decided to bet on Laboral against Galatasaray. Laboral are still struggling with away games but they have gotten much much better, being only a small step away from winning against Unicaja and Fenerbahce away. They were better than Olympiacos for more then 30 minutes in Greece. They are doing great, they're on of top European teams when it comes to rebounding, with two super-fast point-guards Adams and James bringing the pace up. All that makes Laboral a very tough opponent capable of standing up to any European team. I think they have a very good chance today because they are very close to Efes physically and if they only improve the horrible shooting from the first match by a little bit, they will have a shot here, just like in all of their previous away games. With a bit of luck, they may even surprise everyone. Details

I think Unicaja are overrated in this match. They may be the leading team of the league, and deserve respect, but many of their game were barely won, mostly because the opponents could not parry them physically. Bilbao certainly can, led by Williams and Todorović in the pain and recovered Hervelle on power forward. They also have Mumbru at small or power forward, who can be a really good counter to Kuzminkas, through whom Unicaja give a lot of trouble to their opponents. Bilbao are an extremely experienced team playing great basketball this season, primarily on defense, and they know how to win matches such as this one. The last 8 away matches Unicaja played they did not match this margin and even if they win today I doubt it will be a decisive victory. Playing under on Unicaja points is equally good, and to those feeling brave I can recommend playing on Bilbao surprising with a clean victory. Details

Statistically sane tip, but there are a few things making me want to bet on Murcia's under. Zaragoza, despite being in crisis, lost most of their matches to the stronger teams. Only their defense was working. The guests rely on the defense a lot, there's no running or forcing position basketball. I'm convinced they'll try to do that today, and not allow Murcia to run as much as Unicaja and Laboral let them, when Murcia went over this margin. Granca and Joventut left the home team under 71 here, and that's where I see them today. If Zaragoza play like they can, they can easily get it done, and even get a win. Details

The other eight opponents were all left under, which isn't that surprising when you know they force slow basketball, and put emphasis on a strong defense. Unicaja aren't brilliant in away matches, and also have chronic problems with their offense. If you stop their offensive rebounds, they're in big trouble because they don't have much other talent. They went over this margin four times in the last twelve, and twice for a point, once after the overtime, and once against the fast Murcia. I think this game will be really tough because the guests played against Laboral only 48 hours ago, they have to feel fatigue, and the firm hosts won't let them have a single easy point because they've got their own reasons to be merciless.
