    I may be wrong but I cannot accept the fact that 165.5 point margin is the real state of things. Real have shown us two types of performances and I expect to see the more defensive approach from Real. They have no margin for error, a defeat would mean a season without a trophy for then and that would be a major blow despite winning the Cup and the Supercup. In the second game, they showed they can play defense when their backs are up against a wall and I expect a completely different game from the one two days ago. Barcelona scored from wherever they pleased on Tuesday, they scored their first 5 three-pointers, had 11/14 at one point and used all Real's weaknesses. Today they won't be given so much space and we can expect a weaker shooting after the third game. Everyone in Real has emphasized the importance of defense knowing that's the only way for them to win and Laso has said a couple of times that their good attacking performances will come if they do well in defense. Everything is possible in sports and so is this game going over 170 points, but that's not realistic in my opinion. Even with that crazy shooting percentage from Barcelona, the game ended with 173 point. I expect a much tougher game on both ends, more tensions and a game with under 160 points. Details

    The first game offered a great attacking performance on both ends - 191 points in 40 minutes but I doubt that will happen again today. Had Real managed to win, perhaps I wouldn't be writing this tip but this way I'm pretty sure we'll see a much tighter game. Real played two open games against Unicaja and managed to get through and they used the same approach in the third game where Laso's team got a rude awakening and realized they can't play like that. The 4th game ended with 73-73 after 40 minutes. Defense will be crucial part of this game and we should see a much more serious approach from the reigning champions. Barcelona have a better defensive line than Unicaja and all 5 of their games against Valencia were low-scoring affairs (152 points or less). Even though they won on Thursday, Barcelona were not too happy with their defensive performance as they are aware they allowed too many 'cheap' points. These teams played in the finals last year as well and none of those 5 games ended with over 156 points. Simply put the stakes are high and today's game could be decisive. They have shown many times this season that they are capable of playing excellent defense and 4 out of 5 H2Hs before Thursday ended under this margin. Even an irrelevant game played in May went under, and the one at Euroleague Final Four when Real demolished Barcelona and we the second half turned into an exhibition match.     The initial margin on Montenegro was -7.5 but it soon dropped due to Adžić's rotations in the squad. however, the odds set at the moment have no basis in reality. This team beat Poland a few days ago, and the Poles are the fourth national team in the world and were very motivated in the game, unlike Montenegro. On the other hand, this Poland won in the Czech Republic yesterday by 3 goals and secured the second spot in the group, while the Czechs had a walk in the park against Portugal a few days ago, as they won by some 10 points. The Montenegrins want to end the cycle with a win, and despite their wish to give their cadets a lot of playing time, the difference in quality is huge.     Slovenians say they will have to be extremely tough in defense if they want to prevent Hungary from having too much space to work within. They will also try to use the fast transition to turn the game in their favor. On the other hand, Mocsai was unhappy about some things in the first game, despite his team conceding only 22 goals. Hungary want to limit Slovenia under 25 goals in this game, they know any kind of outrunning attempts would be good for the opponent, which is why they'll try to prevent that. If we take a look at Hungary's official matches in the last few years, we see that most of them were under this margin. They did 6 games at the EC in Denmark, and went over it only against Spain. In the qualifying games for the WC, they went over only against Latvia, 57 goals were scored then, and against Slovakia, in a game that was not relevant. They never went over this margin in the six games at WC in Spain, and in the 8 games they did at the Olympics in London, only the bronze medal battle with Croatia was an over. The game today is very important for the both teams, who ever fails to go to Qatar will have a hard time going to Rio. Both are struggling with absences, especially Slovenia, who are missing a few offense oriented players. The stakes would have been higher even if it wasn't or the Slovenia who will try to set the faster pace, but regardless of that, I expect a war here similar to the second half time in Veszprem, and a game with about 50-55 goals scored.     In comparison to last game, the margin has dropped by five points and even though it's closer to the real state of things, I still think this bet has a high value. This will be the seventh game in 13 days for both teams, and it is very hard to withstand that with the squads these teams have at their disposal. Strasbourg have 8 guys, while Nancy have the oldest team in the league, with some leaders well over 30. The second and the third game offered a huge fight, and when this happens, the end result is very low. The shot percentage may not be so low today, but I don't see this over 150. An important factor is Diot's absence as Strasbourg lose a lot of offensive potential without him and Nancy should be able to impose their rhythm we saw on Saturday. Weisz's team should be able to dominate the rebounds and their strong defense could limit Strasbourg to 60-65 points. Strassbourg are on the verge of elimination and it's hard to win this game with this squad without a great defensive performance. Details

    The first game under I suggested turned out badly, because Nancy had an amazing shooting efficiency. That's the only reason the game ended with 176 points scored. But, the second game was what I expected the first one to be. Every point was a great battle, defenses were aggressive, which resulted in bad three-pointer efficiency. That segment might be slightly better today, but I don't think 160 or more points will be scored today. Nancy are much more aggressive and tougher home, which is why I expect a real battle. This is the sixth game in the last 12 days for the both teams, the rhythm is demanding (a game every two days), and neither team have enough players to rely on. Fatigue should have an effect on efficiency today, but there should still be enough fighting. Aggression is something both sides have been talking about. 152.7 points have been scored on average in Nancy's home championship games this season, 152.7 in Strasbourg's. Strasbourgh are efficient the past few weeks, but Collet realized they can't beat Nancy the way you can beat Chalon. Head to head meetings of these two teams have been ending, as a rule, under this margin. Details

    Considering what I've seen the in the first 4 head-to-heads this season, and considering the situation in CSKA's ranks, the visitors cannot be the favorites. I think the bookies chose to decide the odds based on the team's renown and not the result in the series and the fact that CSKA are on the verge of relegation. After their debacle in Milan, the Muscovite team is in disarray. The club chairman has blame Messina for their failures in the last two seasons and Messina was very angry at his players for missing the chance in the semi-finals. I think their cooperation is coming to an end and this might be the last game for the Italian expert. CSKA will be without Jackson and Micov, two very important players, while Teodosić is far from ideal form, his offensive segment is lacking while he is renowned for defensive problems. Lokomotiv have the game to handle CSKA as Hendrix and Brown can match their rebounds and cause a lot of problems with their mobility. Simon and Ponkrashov are in solid form and Kalnietis has recovered from his injury. This is at least a 50-50 game and I would say Lokomotiv even have a slight advantage on account of home court advantage. They know how to handle CSKA and even when the Muscovites were in much better form this season, the two teams played two tight games in Euroleague that were decided by one ball. Lokomotiv have dominated both games so far, and CSKA were on a much better level then. Even if the Muscovites manage to pull their ranks through some miracle, I don't believe they will have an easy task. A win for the home team at 3.00 odds also has a very high value while I have decided to take this option which would cover a tight defeat. Details

    UNICS won +22 on Sunday, although they had as much as +32 in the last period. They started too relaxed on Monday, and Samara took advantage of that in the first part, but with just a few minutes of serious playing UNICS reached a double digit lead. Had they kept at it, the game would once again end with a 20+ lead, as the difference in quality is simply too big and Samara's 6-7 players cannot resist the deep roster Trinchieri has at his disposal this season. The absence of Kajmakoglu is not felt at all. This season UNICS managed to win away matches with a double digit lead even against much stronger teams. Last year the quality gap was smaller, and UNICS still managed to win 69-56 here. Samara lost -17 at home against CSKA at the start of this season, while the still had both Wrights and Ponkrašov on their roster, and Himki demolished them 91-58, though we must add Samara had even bigger problems then. However, they played a friendly at home against Himki less than two weeks ago and lost 97-77. For Himki that was their first game after a long break, and their current form was best exposed by Nižnij, winning the series 3-0. UNICS are stronger than Himki at the moment, and everything depends on them here. If they approach this seriously, it will end at +15, so one might even try a big handicap.
    However, I've decided to play this bet with a bigger bet, as the margin is such that is does not allow for relaxing in the final period and I expect UNICS to cover it easily. Details

    Limoges have no margin for error today and everyone in the club is aware of that. I expect to see a proper performance from them, the one that demolished ASVEL in the quarter-finals and Dijon in the 10 minutes of the second half on Monday. Dijon were up by 48-25 in the 25th minute and a sure win in their hands only for Limoges to make an incredible 41-14 run and turn the game around. Dijon got away in the end, but I think this defeat will motivate Limoges even more today. Dupraz was angry after the first game, aware that his team's poor performance is the only reason they are not up front. Apart from that, Limoges had a terrible perimeter shot efficiency (2/17) while Dijon scored from wherever they pleased (11/20 for three points in this period). It is well-known that Dijon have been struggling with their perimeter shot throughout the season, especially in away games. They have away wins against Le Mans and Limoges but I can't forget the fact that this team was unable to beat anyone away for four full months and that they are much better at home where they have not lost against French teams. They only took what was offered on Monday, but I think they will suffer a convincing defeat today, perhaps even a real trashing as there is a good chance that Borg will rest his leaders if he sees he can't win this one. Dijon did what they came for in Limoges as they have won one game and have a chance to end the series in front of their own fans and everything else is just a bonus. Their main players are very tired and sold-out Beublanc should help Limoges get an easy win. Details

    I think this margin is a result of recent quarter-final games between these two teams. However, considering the rivalry between the two teams, I think it's much too high. All four head-to-heads have stayed under this margin and the pre-season friendly ended with 68-61. We would have to go way back to January 2010 to find the first game that went over this margin and the teams have played 12 H2H's since then. Strasbourg are very efficient in offense but if we look back, we can see that they have stayed under this margin in their games against defensively minded teams: Roanne 66-65, Orleans 84-67, Nancy 84-70, ASVEL 66-85, Dijon 68-54, and the only exception was the game against Le Mans (86-79) in which Strasbourg got a huge lead in the first half and relaxed in the second. Nancy is definitely in the same tier as those teams and they will certainly go for their chance through a defensive game. They will control the rhythm with their rebounds and will try to get the break today. They played a great third game against Paris but I doubt they can emulate that performance. This margin is too high, and Collet himself said he expects a different series than the one against Chalon, which was all about outscoring the opponents. Details

    Even though the margin is higher by two points, I will go with the yesterday's tip once again. What I saw yesterday makes me feel safe. Everything from yesterday goes for today as well. At the moment, UNICS are better by some 20 points regardless of the venue. Without Kajmakoglu and Veremeenko yesterday, they could have easily won by 35-40 points had it been necessary, but Trinchieri made a smart move and spared his main men in the final period. His statement makes me very assured as he realizes the job is not done yet and he demands maximal concentration for this game. As was the case this season, UNICS will not relax with the easy task they had yesterday but could be even more convincing, in full throttle until the end. All credit to Samara for reaching the quarter-finals but they had the easiest route here. The fact is they struggle a lot when faced with an aggressive opponent. Bazarevič doesn't have enough replacements on his bench. Miles, Nichols, Ignierski, O`Bannon played almost the entire game yesterday, even though they were down by 30 points. Fatigue will be a major problem today as they will have a hard time playing for another 30-35 minutes against this UNICS. I expect a new win for the home team by at least 20 points and unless they relax like they did yesterday, they could even hit +30. The braver punters can go for a higher handicap with a smaller stake. Details

    The margin could have been lower, but I think Samara stand no chance here. This is Game 1 of the series, UNICS want to send a clear message and their defense will destroy the opponent. The Kazan-based club have only one defeat home the whole season, the one against Valencia. They covered this margin in 15 out of the last 20 home games, not including the first few games of the season. Before the Valencia game, in 8 out of 10. Only Spartan and Nymbruk were under this margin, the points difference was 14 points, Valencia twice, and Oostenende in Eurocup. Very good teams (Lokomotiv, Himki, Lietuvos, Zvezda) lost here by 15, 20, or even more points. UNICS confirmed how good they are mid-week in Krasnodar by beating Lokomotiv home by 17 points, following the 21-point difference in the first game. Just a little reminder, Lokomotiv didn't make it into the Euroleague quarter final only due to point difference. They came here bursting with confidence following the two wins against CSKA in Moscow. Samara have a very limited number of players at their disposal. None of them, except Miles, would not play at UNICS. Ignierski, O'Bannon and others won't be a problem for UNICS' defense - they managed to stop teams much powerful than this one. Enisej were the prefect opponent for Samara, but UNICS won't let them engage in outplaying. I would not at all be surprised if Samara scores less than 60 points, and they don't have the quality necessary to prevent UNICS from scoring less than 75-80. In a home game a few days ago, they lost to Himki by 20 points (77-97). That was Himki's first game after a three-week long break. Nizni managed to take advantage of that yesterday. With the right approach, UNICS could win by more than 20 points today, and Trichieri already proved that, even if the game is irrelevant result-wise, there is no relaxing. They beat Riga home 98-52 like that, MTZ 88-62. The game today is extremely important, the VTB league play off begins, and UNICS are completely focused on it. I expect their very convincing performance. Details

    The second game only confirmed that Paris are at the moment more than capable to stand up to Nancy, and we wouldn't even be wrong to say that they are the better team. Beugnot are good in every position, and a team capable of fighting for great things when they're at their best. They lost the first game in Nancy in the first 25 minutes, the series would have been ended by now probably. The only advantage Nancy have here is the fact they're playing home. But, that means a lot in France and that is why I didn't dare opt for the visiting team's win. However, the team under seems like a great option. Paris proved they can stop Falker and Pietrus completely, they can be better at rebound, which will make things much harder for Nancy. The home team will, just like in the last two home games against Paris, rely on tough, sometimes even border-line violent defense in the game with not many points scored. This is a fourth game for Nancy in six days, Nancy have the oldest team in the league and that could turn out to be an issue. The home team's fans can help them with fierceness, but I don't think Nancy can get close to 80 points here. Nancy have been scoring 66, and 70 points in the aforementioned games against Paris home. They have scored 73 and 75 points in Paris, but both games were settled long before the end. Nancy scored 29 points by half time on Thursday, and staggering 46 in the second half, when things were already settled. On the other hand, that game on Thursday was the only one in the last seven games in which Paris conceded more than 72, but the opponents didn't reach this margin regardless. The game today might be crucial for both teams, the season is being decided on, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the teams score around 60 points, respectively. I think Paris have better chance of winning, which is why I opted for team under at Nancy. Details

    As much as Lietuvos say that he season is not over, they can't hide the fact they were disappointed after their defeat against Žalgiris. This cost them a good chance of taking the title and picking themselves up in only three days was not easy. Seibutis's injury has created many problems for them as he's a player who often takes the ball in crucial moments when the rest of his team has no idea. In other words, he's one of three leaders of this team whose contribution is very important in this game. I think this will be an open game which Triumph can win, and this handicap has a high value as it covers the possibility of a defeat in a tight free-throw end game. Triumph can dominate the rebounds with Raković and Landry, and this has bee the biggest problem for Lietuvos this season. Higgins is a leader who can score 20 points, but they have shown against Spartak that they can even win without him. Their defeat in St. Petersburg was a result of fatigue and disappointment after their Eurochallenge defeat. Triumph are coming here rested, relaxed, knowing they're not the favorites here and they will face a tired and disappointed opposition. I think this is an ideal chance for the Russians to get a break in the first game, while a potential win for Lietuvos would be a boost for them ahead of tomorrow's second leg. Triumph have a defense that can stop their shooters, prevent the home team from scoring 80-90 points and they have enough firepower to keep up with them. I think the chances here are 55-45 and the odds are not realistic. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Lietuvos fall apart if they start the game poorly. Details

    A convincing display for Ventspils on Wednesday has put them one step away from taking the title from Riga.     This is Nancy's third game in four days and the two games before were very tiring, a regular warfare on the court. Today, they are not facing anything different as Paris have no margin for error. A defeat will spell the end of the season for them, and this would be well below all expectations. The playoffs were set as the minimal goal, while the title was a secret dream, which wouldn't be all that sensational considering Beugnot's squad.
