Lokomotiv's core squad is the same as last season, their form is improving but the odds on their win are not too high and I see this as a much better option, bearing in mind the situation in Dinamo and the away team's solid defense. Atlant opened their season in catastrophic manner and coach Svetlov paid for that by being replaced before the game against Donbass. That move worked since they won against the Ukrainian team, a team that is at least one step higher in quality than Dinamo. The team admitted they were shook by the change and that it was a positive shock for them and that their depression is over. Today they have a chance to continue their win streak against weaker opponent. They played perfect defense against Dombass and I expect the same from them in this game since Dinamo is one of the weakest teams in the league and they have five defeats in six games and three scoreless defeats on the road, which is more important information. They lost all important players this summer and the team is without a star, which significantly limits their game in road games. This is the perfect situation for Atlant since they promised their fans they will start playing better and asked for their forgiveness. I think there's no team more desirable than Medvescak to cure one's frustrations at the moment. They didn't start the season well and they need a good result urgently to regain their fans' confidence. They have two home losses in a row, which is intolerable for a team like that. They outclass Medvescak considerably, who aren't playing well in Russia, where the rinks are wider, not well suited to their style of play. Dinamo from Minsk is an offensively weaker team than Medvescak so I don't see any problems there and in the offense of SKA I see about 5 goals which will be enough for this bet to pass. SKA is simply too good in all segments. The forwards are individually fantastic, they are probably the fastest team of the league and they also have the best goalie in Europe. Dinamo Minsk conceded four goals at Severstal in the last away match and they will concede even more here. They played a friendly match together before this season and SKA won with an easy 3-0 and something similar I expect here as well. This success is even bigger when we look at the teams they won against - especially Omsk and Barys, tough opponents for everyone. With that in mind, we can expect that The Bears could have very difficult match against them. SKA is creating goal chances with such an ease and this is pretty much expected from the best teams in the KHL with some of the true legends of the sport in their squad. This is the first away match for The Bears in KHL and for a lot of their players this will be the first match in Russia. I can see them having a lot of trouble against SKA.

Except in the first match, The Bears have shown very little this season. They suffered convincing losses to Riga and Lev, and against Slovan they failed to win despite having two-goals advantage. They made a lot of mistakes in the defense, and their opponents knew how to make them pay for that mistakes. We can definitely expect that SKA's skillful players will know how to exploit every opportunity that is handed to them. Even if they were playing at home, I still think The Bears would be big underdogs in this match. SKA is crushing their opponents and for rather unconvincing Medvescak this is the first visit to Russia. I don't think they can salvage anything from this match.
