Fyllingen have, so far, scored a lot against strong defenses, for example they scored 28 against Bodo, 32 against Haslum, 28 against Elverum. They haven't scored less than 28 in any game. Andersson and Tangen are in the top 10 of scorers and they scored 61 goals combined, and there is also Gjeitrem on the line who scored 24. BSk are good in defense, but I expect the away team at over 27 goals because they are dangerous from all positions. When they are not doing well as a team, they have enough of individual quality. Also, their defense is nothing special because they haven't conceded less than 25 which I think would be enough for the bet to pass today as well. As far as BSK are concerned, their important backs have returned, Stromberg who is a great player has improved, and Hauge, who guarantees five goals per game, is also here now. They have the width, and it's time for them to start moving towards the middle of the table because it is only a matter of time for them to start playing well considering their quality. Pulawy are the favorites today. They play great, have quality rotation with wide bench and Skutnik uses it well. He often makes substitutions and that way keeps the pace when needed the most. Pulawy used their budget in the pre-season and acquired the best possible players their rivals had and they are using that well. They won six of seven games, they only lost at Wisla, but they didn't deserve to lose because they were even, to say the least. Their only weaker game was the one against Lubin, and the reason for that was a bad start with the lack of concentration which has been pointed out in each round. Of the four home games they played, Pulawy went over this handicap all four times. Based on what they demonstrated so far, the most important thing for them is to get 'fired up' and have a good start, and they never lacked motivation against Pogon. They regularly defeated them here last season, and in the last five games, they didn't win with a handicap only once, in fact, they won by 24 in 2014. Pogon are in a bad run. First they were embarrassed at home against KPR, and then against the Hungarians as well. Pogon could have suffered a more convincing defeat in that game. Bialy admitted that they lack strength for such rhythm, and this will be their fourth game in ten days. Since Bialy has only 11 players at his disposal, several of which are inexperienced youngsters, they will have a hard time following the home team's pace. Details

Haslum want to try their luck getting the title, and Kolstad were a second-league team who could go back to that description in the spring. That isn't that important, but the difference in quality definitely is. Unlike the Vikings, Kolstad didn't bring reinforcements, they don't have experienced players, and those that are present aren't good enough to be a danger for a team from the top. Haslum started the season greatly. They obviously easily recovered from Mamelund's departure, and are now working as a team. Sondena, Roe and Patriksson are the seeds, but everyone takes part, so Haslum are dangerous no matter what position. They got eliminated from the Cup 10 days ago, which was seen as a failure, but that's why words like motivation and redemption are often mentioned today. Besides, Fyllingen has been really good this season. Kolstad lost the home match to Halden by 13, the one to Elverum as well. They surprised BSK, but BSk are pretty weak themselves this season. I base my bet on Kolstad's defense. They're not first league quality. They'll play half the match, but will definitely lose it in the second. The difference between Kolstad and other first-league teams has been obvious so far, and should show up today considering Haslum's mobility. Lubin were assembled to get to top eight this season, but with their current offense, that's not going to be easy. They're at the back right now, they struggled even against KPR, and I don't think they can jeopardize Pulawy today. They barely scored 24 goals against KPR, and with only a few fastbreaks. Even the coach said their offense looks awful. The guests, on the other hand, are looking great. Their roster is wide and good. They collected the best players from their last year's opponents, and the results are proving how good their game is. They crushed Gornik and Stal, and were a better team that deserved to win for most of the match against Wisla. Considering what they showed in these four rounds, Pulawy are an absolute favorite today. Even though Lubin's defense is decent, any team that can score 33 against Wisla in an away match deserves respect. Anything but a very convincing win would be a huge surprise for me, but considering that this is their first away match that they have to win, I'll be more cautious with my stake. The plus for this bet is that MMTS won here by three, and MMTS are much better than Pulawy when it comes to quality. Details

Bodo isn't missing a lot of players, but they're without those who are the spine of the team. Aziz is simply one of the best backs of the league. Last season his absence influenced the results until he came back. His absence is a big handicap. And then that handicap is probably made even bigger since Nilsen is also out, and he's also one of the best backs in the league, even though he's only 21. Except for those two Lund is also out who would help in the defense, and newest information tells us that Langaas is also out. All those are simply too big handicaps. Gornik are not exactly at their best this season. They lost a few important players and that affected the game. Pulawy first beat them easily and then Glogow shocked them as well. Gornik beat Slask convincingly and now face Pogon. In the meantime, the home team played two EHF games against Tiraspol. Jurasik said those two games were turning points for him team but that doesn't sound right. He said Tiraspol ar a goo team but I don't think they would be able to avoid relegation if they played the Polish league. Also, this is Gornik's fifth game in 10 days, which is also good for this bet. They absolutely have to be affected by that, especially now at season start. Another thing is, Jurasik, who both scores and assists, is questionable for today. They lost him against Glogow and finished with a total of only 19 goals. And finally, the last good reason for this tip is Pogon's defense. Noch did a great job with them and goal keeper Tatar is doing great to top things off. They are the best defense in the league with 22,3 goals per game - even better than Kielce's. Offense is a bit of struggle but I think Pogon will have it easier on the offensive end today than against Glogow, who's defense is great too. I do not understand why the margin at total goals here but we'll try and take advantage of it. Let's start with history that say Runar and Haslum played 28 games so far, both in league and the Cup since 2003. 7 out of those 28 went under this margin, while one finished with 53 goals precisely. 56 were scored last season here. Haslum had a very busy schedule back then so they were tired. Runar are now definitely better than last season. They acquired Perez and Kapular, who can score 20 goals against any team. Perez can make up for another 4,5. The rest of the team was good as well against Fyllingen, the team that is, in my opinion, better than Haslum at this point. The visitors played a draw home with BSK and to make things even better, Skarpsno said that the defense wasn't so bad but that he wants better offense. Just a reminder, the scored 29 goals and conceded 29. Haslum will try and score 30 again, which is no surprise since Skarpsno is not backing down from his philosophy, which is a lot of shots and fastbreaks if possible. Runar's game is not much different. The defense never got much attention at Haslum. It was good from time to time but they are not at that level where they can limit Runar to 19 goals. They will play to score more than the opponents. It's early season, the defenses are not that good and both have players who can score. On top of that, only Elverum and DHK scored less than 55 in the first round, which only goes to show that defenses have not reached top level yet. Details

Pogon lost their key players just before the start of the season but we should still try and take advantage of the bookies finding Lubin to be such heavy favorites. Pogon already played their first game - the fifth round with Kielce and managed to get a point. Goal keeper Tatar did brilliantly in that game, just like the entire defense that limited Kielce to only 27 goals. That defense is what Bialy will base their game on this season since he lost the top scorers. They are, however, still a good team that beat Lubin twice in test games. Pogon were one of the Top 4 Polish teams last season. I will try and take advantage off this 2.65 with smaller stake. Any team that get a point against Kielce in an official game deserves it. Elverum are obviously the heavy favorite today and would have been the favorite even if the visitors had Steins on the team. His absence only works in favor of this tip that Elverum will score over 30 goals. I saw their game against Drammen. They wanted to play fast but they simply declined in the second half and had too many technical errors. Drammen played great almost the entire game expect for a period in the second half. Dramen like that is two levels above Lions. Apelgren foreced the fast center in that game. They played fast paced games all season long last season. Since the Lions have a similar style, I think Elverum will have enough fastbreaks today. The defense they displayed against Drammen and Nergaard on the goal will almost definitely prepare a lot of counter attacks for Lindboe today. Serbia lost Zivkov and Kovacevic is questionable but I still think they are better than Croatia. Serbia didn't do badly against Romania yesterday at all. Had they scored only the half of sitters they had, they would have won. Serbia had 7/11 from seven-meter throws, 9/17 from the 6-meter range and 3/9 from wing positions. Croatia, on the other hand, managed to lose the game they already settled (had a 8-goal lead). That must have left some trace on the players. Coach Sebek himself said he felt empty. How do then the 19-year-old girls feel after winning only one game. They didn't do well against France, it was more that France did badly. France would have mad a comeback even earlier if Ecimovic wasn't on the goal. Serbia played great defense and that is why they won. They focused on other players while allowing Mamic some freedom. She scored 9 while the rest of the team scored 11 in total. Serbia were completely dominant in that match from start to finish and could do the same today. Details

It's a shame France are only fighting for the ninth place because they didn't play bad at all, they only lost one match, and that was against the strong Sweden. They were only one goal away from beating Hungary. Still, they had a bit of bad luck, and here they are. Unlike France, Croatia didn't show almost anything, except for P. Mamić. If she wasn't in such a good mood, the results would probably have been even worse. They only got one win so far, and it's questionable how even that one would have ended if Macedonia really showed what they can do. France are better in all the segments. They're aggressive and "dirty" defensively, they're very mobile, and dangerous from the back positions. If the result goes their way in the first half-time, Croatia could be crushed because that's what the quality and the form suggest. I think France will win convincingly, they're definitely motivated, they've got quality, and they're ready to play this right. Details

The odds were completely even this morning, but then a sudden drop on Norway's win happened. There really isn't any realistic basis for that to happen because this is an even game that can be determined by details. Based on Hungary's three games I saw, I have to give them a chance today, and that pays well right now. The Hungarians look great in the defense. They are very aggressive and they move great, which they proved in all games so far. We should look at the first game against Sweden separately, since they came to Valencia late, with landing problems and temperature shock. However, the Hungarians improved with each game and they definitely deserve to advance to the semi-final. The most important thing, they made improvements in the offense, and the defense and the keepers were good from the start. We od have to say that Norway had an easy schedule until the game against Sweden. Belarus and Portugal are not on Hungary's level. Of course the Norwegians are also dangerous. They also play fast handball and they are very good in the offense, but definitely not this good. The result at last year's World Championship group was 29-22 for Hungary, and in the second round Norway won the 7-meter shootout after 23-23. Considering the odds, this bet definitely has a basis for a smaller stake. Details

It very clear that the bookies came with this margin based on the friendly match that was played 15 days ago but realistically, doesn't have a whole lot to do with reality. They played group stage game with Serbia and Croatia at 50 and 53 goals but neither Croatia nor Serbia were at their current level so those were mostly one-sided wins. The Danish defense is great. The players have excellent footwork and do not allow the opponent to get within nine meters. That resulted in mistakes by the aforementioned teams from which the Danes scored. They had 18 fast breaks that resulted in 17 goals in those two games. Montenegro definitely played better defense, which caused problems, especially in the second half. The Danes did do well in that game but it was very obvious what happens with their game when they are faced with a team that is organized both in defense and offense. Russia didn't run into a single fast break against Germany, who are not even a good opponent, but at the same time didn't allow the opponents a single one. The record in the Macedonia game was 8-3. Russia are better in offense than the teams Denmark met so far, especially from 9 meters but I don't think this can be a fast-paced and productive game. They play for semifinals. AT WC last year, the score was 22-22 after 60 minutes. The only things that is not good for this vet are results from the preparation period but official games are a completely different thing, especially in this stage. Details

Denmark are definitely the main favorites of the tournament. They have the widest, and the best roster. Every position is filled great, and the most important thing is that they work great as a team. Of course they have players who stand out from the collective, but they are in general set up fell. They took the bronze medal on the last two big competitions, and now they want to take a step further. They have the quality to do that, and they proved it in the friendly games in which they demolished their opponents, and especially worthy is the win by 7 against Russia. Everything is clear from the preview. Both teams need to win. This is a 'to be or not to be' game for Slask and defeat is out of the question because in that case they would no longer depend n themselves, but on Nielba as well, which is not good at all. I made a big mistake in the first game by failing to follow up on my opinion that at least 60 goals would be scored. Haslum is at an average of almost 56, Halden, however, on less than 53, but these two teams play fast game, they shoot a lot and have shooters who can score a lot.
