LTH accepted they'll be eliminated from the league, and that's how they played the last few matches. They've got a 7-defeats run, and won only 4 league matches this season, barely. They look better at home than away, but they've got nothing to play for now, except their pride. They scored 15 to Bodo in the last home match, only 2 of those in the first half-time. Elverum allowed them 17, and I don't think they'll score over 20 today, either. Fyllingen have a reason to play. They need one win to secure the fifth place, and this is the best chance they're going to get. Their game has really improved in the last two months. Out of five matches played, they only lost to Bodo in the second part, and had a tie against Elverum in an away duel. Their defense was pretty good lately, and I think their win is a sure thing. For those who need a fix on the combo, the guests sure win is a great choice. I'm going to try with a handicap. Details

Let me just say the most important things regarding this game. Both Fyllingen and Galden will almost certainly be in the playoffs. They're four points away from Drammen who are playing against OIF today. If they lose, the aforementioned duo are safe. Next to it, both are playing aganst LTH who are already out, and they showed their motivation with two goals in 30 minutes against Bode. Today's match could be a bit more relaxed. There's no pressure, and both of their shapes suggest there could be goals. Fyllingen have Tangen, Hvidsten and Andersson, and Halden best backs of the league, Carlsen and Jakobsen. Both have a similar game style, fast pace and a lot of shots. Fyllingen is somewhat stronger in counterattacks, and that favors the bet. It would be a shame not to use this margin in the meeting between Runar and Haslum. As for Runar, they are not as efficient as they were in the lat seasons but they are still good enough to score more than 25 against Haslum. They went over 53 in 11 out of 19 games this season. Haslum did it only 12 times when it comes to the league games. They met 12 times in the last 5 seasons to go over 53 goals in 9 of them, which is 75%. Runar are not as good as they were previous seasons so the first head-to-head in the league this season finished at 51 and the one in the Cup at 45. Still, we should not draw comparisons between those games and this one. Runar secured a spot in the league next season, they are no longer under pressure and finally able to enjoy the match. A spectacle and a packed arena are expected, which was never the case in the last 10 years. Everyone will want to see how the TV anchor will do but Zanotti obviously won't be interested to keep him in the game for a very long time. Haslum, on the other hand, need to win this and that is more important for this tip. They have played a lot of game, which means the defense won't probably be as tough. In order to save as much energy, the will want to score as many fast break goals and they do that well. If they were able to score 34 against HSV, I don't see any reason for the same not to happen here. All the criteria for a productive game is met and we can't miss out on it. Details

I really don't understand why the handicap was set so low on Elverum. Stord are the last team of the league. They only won three out of 13 games. They barely defeated LTH at home, and I don't think I have to explain how bad LTH are. They also barely defeated BSK in an away game, and the only real win they had was at home against Fyllingen, but there's the effect of the local derby. Also, their goalie had 16 saves in that match. They lost at home to Runar by 5, OIF by 3, Haslum by 2, and Bodo by 1 goal difference. Elverum lined up a few bad results lately, but let's be real. They lost to Constanta, Haslum, OIF, and those teams can't even be put in the same sentence as Stord. As for the league, the only away games they lost were to Haslum, OIF and LTH, which they can hardly do again. In the other wins, they never stayed under this margin, and in the last round, they crushed BSK in an away game by 15. In the first game, Elverum celebrated 38-19. Even if there were no other facts listed here, this one alone would be enough to take the handicap offered, which is at least 3 goals short, in my opinion. Considering Stord play defense better at home than away, and I do appreciate the home team's names who just haven't started playing well yet, the stakes are a unit lower than I thought. Elverum's clean win is also good for the combo, and since the bookmakers will increase the margin after the announcements, I suggest taking the pick all the way to +5.5. Details

First and foremost, when Halden are concerned one should expect productivity. We need to leave the last round game with Lillestrome aside. I don't think Halden are capable of doing that again. Boysen and Holm are top back players (Boysen the top scorer in the league, Hold on a great average). They scored 37 against Fyllingen to prove that kind of a game style suits them. To start off, BSK beat Elverum only twice home (played 11 games), both times in season 2009/2010. Elverum are undefeated in this away game for five consecutive seasons.

BSK are a good team, but their results so far prove that they rely on Hippe too much. Hippe is back on the team after an injury and that means a lot, but any kind of good defense performance by the opponent can stop Hippe. And Elverum are capable of good defense. Since Berge left, Apelgren is left to lead his team, which is not working that well so far. They lost 4 games in a row, the worst streak they had in years. Still, one cannot state that Elverum don't possess quality. They are the best team of the league (on paper) and as such need to be treated with respect regardless of their current results. Elverum cannot afford to lose today since they're already 4 points short of OIF. If that deficit turns into 6 points, Elverum will fall behind in the race for the championship title. They know they need to do their best to stay undefeated today. Since they're a team with European quality, we can't miss out on their win, even with insignificant stake, since it's payed very well. Besides BSK are not as good as Halsum, OIF, and Constanta. We need to bet on Elverum now that bookies don't find them that good.. Details

Haslum left an impression as if they were going to Russia with attitude "what happens, happens" before the first game. It was like they weren't hoping to get a positive result. It turned out they could have easily celebrated. They were in the lead for 50 minutes. The offense played great, the goalies were up to their tasks, and then the light fatigue came, a few errors, and that gave the final result. Today, things'll be a little different. Haslum play at home, they didn't have to be bothered with long trips and changing the weather conditions, but can wait for the Russians calmly. Given the facts, I think Notteroy are being underrated here. The are bottom table, but they can be tough and definitely need to be taken seriously. They were very close to Elverum for the most part of their last round's game, but ended up making a few mistakes to allow opponents some easy goals. It seems like a bad defeat in the end, but Nottero put up a good fight. They are one of those teams that mostly do better home. The results haven't been in accordance with it so far, but Notteroy need to be looking for points in home games. If Fyllingen haven't been on such a tough schedule, I would not have gone with this. But, this is their fourth game in only a week and no matter how fit they are, that has to leave a trace. The trip to Portugal and two games with Benfica in only two days were particularly tiring. Fyllingen's stats away are another reason for the bet - they won only two away games. Taking all of that into consideration, I think Notteroy stand a chance of winning today and that win is payed very well. Details

I've had a few tips at Drammen so far and I'll just repeat the most important points: ever since Perez joined, Drammen are a whole different team that is getting better each next game, that is very productive and good in passing. Perez took them to the next level. They lost to Halden but you can't say they didn't have the chance to win. It was just one of those days when nothing is working. Halden's goal keeper recorded 25 saves in total. Stord's goal keepers are not good at this point and even though the visitors have good players on the team, they keep on failing to find form. They won only one away game this season (+ 2 home games). Besides poor form and bad away performances, the struggle with the roster as well. To make things even worse, this is Stord's third game in a week, since they met Pristina in Challenge Cup last weekend. Drammen will want to make amends after Halden, and given all the facts, I think they will be able to win. They certainly have the necessary quality. Details

Runar and BSK are two shooting teams who run a lot and get a lot of shots off. So far Runar had a problem with efficiency. Had they scored from all the chances they had, they'd be in a much better position today, and this margin would also be higher by at least 3 goals. Case in point: against Haslum they missed 12 practically clean shots and scored just 7 goals by halftime. I don't believe that can happen today. Zanoti is aware of the problem and has worked hard on it. BSK will also help with that, as their defense is ailing, conceding 28 on average, like Runar. They do much better on offense however, especially in their last matches when they've already gotten in sync even without Hippe. The most important thing is that Stromberg improved his form, and when he is in his top shape he guarantees 7-8 goals per game. Runar went over this margin in 6 of their 10 matches, and every time at home. BSK stayed at 53 once, and under four times. In the last 10 matches they had over the past five seasons, only one ended under this margin, back in 2011. Having in mind everything said here, I expect them both running and scoring. The lower stake is due to semireliable information that Nielsen and Nostdahl are in question for this match for Runar, although the FB page announcement never mentions it. Details

The margin for this game is based on Stord's form, as they've had and hot'n'cold run, but they're a tough nut to crack at home. They've played four games and never went over 50, in tough battles with Bodo and Haslum, which they've lost, while they beat Fyllingen. In those games Stord played tough defense and patient offense, and we can expect the same today, as the away team are still better right now. Also, we can hardly expect Traberg to score 11 once again, which contributed quite a bit to the end score against BSK. OIF also have a number of tough and hard games behind them, and have a great defense and goalie. They concede 23 goals on average, and I don't expect that to go much higher today either. Considering the defenses and importance of the match for both teams, I expect a hard battle and a maximum of about 50 goals. The stake could be higher if the away team's top scorer had not returned to the team, but he was on the team even when OIF ended matches with a total of 35 goals. Details

I think OIF are a favorite today, but I think the bookmakers overdid it with the handicap. Drammen aren't that much of an outsider regardless of their league table position. Let's start with Arendal. The guests' team are much better than the current league table position, and I expect them to show that today. The fact that OIF have been going to Bergen for three days already, while Drammen have time to rest before the next round works for this bet. Details

These odds are based solely on statistics and the current league table ranks.The facts are pretty different, though. Nielba are the weakest team of the league and it seems as if they surprised themselves by coming to the elite. The lack of physical strength is obvious, it kills them every time in the second half-time. Also, only Barzenkou stands out with the quality, while the rest of the team is under the league average. They only defeated Lubin at home this season, and they're the weakest offense in the league. The key to this bet is the MMTS. They've got the quality to do much more than just get to the playoffs. Their only blunders were against Lubin and Stal, but even those were with only one goal difference. They have games against the toughest opponents behind them, so they can start counting on points now. Their biggest problem right now is that the team didn't play like a team in the last games, but there were a lot of individual actions from the back line. The biggest example was after the defeat in Pogon where their first half-time was a disaster, but after an obviously loud break in the locker room, they came out like a different team. The coach was pissed after that game, called them pussies, and they themselves admitted it afterwards, and tried to prove him wrong. To keep it short, MMTS can hardly get a better chance to get two points. It all points to their win, and any other outcome would be a surprise. Nielba are hanging by a thread. I think they'll show their true self today, so these great odds should be used. Details

I would normally not bet on this, but situation Pogon is currently in should be used with a smaller stake. They can't count on Zydron, Zaremb and Krynski. Zydron is top scorer and Zaremba right back and important defender. 19-year-old Stakiewicz will step in for him - he's got potential, but needs more time. Krynski is the first choice goal keeper who's always doing well. 70% of Pogon's game will come down to Konitz. If Stal managed to stop him, Pogon is in trouble. Stal aren't doing best lately, struggling particularly with fast-paced Lubin. Pogon are fast as well, but the substitutes that are stepping in don't have as much experience to be able to play as fast. Stal are a good team, they have been working hard. The only thing is, Pogon are playing home and that is the reason for lower stake. I definitely recommend counter-handicap as well, if it's available, but faced with little choice I have to opt for this. Details

Although Bodo showed many good performances this season, they did not impress away. They did demolish Haslum, but admitted they have no idea how they did it. Haslum played terribly in that match, without either defense or offense, and Bodo just killed them with counterattacks. Before that they embarrassed themselves against Halden, lost to Elverum, barely beat poor Stord and Drammen's perimeter was no threat back then anyway. Last year they won just three away matches, and back then Notteroy won by 5. Although this Bodo team is better than the one they had back then, Notteroy have improved as well. They did start the season poorly, but are looking better with each new match, In their last home match they destroyed Stord, and got punished against Runar for 5 poorly played minutes and Boysen's foolishnes, for which he got rubbed hard by Jensen after the match. Boysen and Holm are in great shape, and Boysen is the second scorer in the league with 56 goals (only 2 from penalties) and by far the best back of the season so far. Holm added his 35 goals, and the two of them combine for 12 goals per game. Despite all that, I' stay away from this if Bodo had not lost Aziz. Binai is the second scorer for Bodo after Nilsen, and we saw what happens when Nilsen is alone against Lillestrom. It's a different tune without Aziz, and Notteroy have a value chance in those circumstances. +1.5 is widely available and worth an equal stake. Details

Elverum defeated Halden yesterday, so this is a great chance for Bodo to join the fight for the top again, with only 2 points behind the leading teams. Four days ago, they played a fantastic game against Haslum. They crushed them by 11 in the away game, and got placed to the cup final. Today, there'll be a feast and a win, and I think a convincing one at that. The bookmakers set the margin to 5.5 which Bodo should easily go over with the right approach. Lillestrom lost by 7 and 14 to OIF, by 9 to Haslum and Drammen, and Bodo are definitely in their rank. They've got four wins in a row at home against much stronger opponents. Only Runar were weaker, and they crushed them by 8. No need to talk about the home team's defense. I personally doubt Lillestrom will score over 20, and the offense is too powerful for the guests. Aziz, and especially Nielsen, are in a great form and able to score 20 goals themselves. Besides them, Westby's back, another good think for the home team. Bodo have to win, and have all it takes to make it more convincing than 5 goals difference. Details

I think the betting houses raised the margin a bit too high for this match. The 55.5 would be more appropriate for the last edition of these teams, but now neither of them are looking efficient. Stord went over this limit only twice - in an away match where Elverum crushed them and scored 38 points, and home against Runar in a draw match on the very opening of the league. All of the other matches were far below 56 points. Haslum are the reason for which the margin is set so high, but they don't look good at this moment. Unlike them, Stord play good defense, but their offense is not that special. Next to all of that, Stord are at the bottom of the table and they have to look for points even against the strongest teams. They tortured Fyllingen and Bodo at home, so I believe they will do the same with Haslum, especially after the fiasco against Notteroy. Haslum also have to go for a win because the top of the table is slowly slipping away. Mamelund is not in shape and that's reflected in their game. All in all, I expect a very difficult match with aggressive defenses and less goals. The stakes are high, but the offenses are not in shape. Details

Considering these are two best offenses of the league, I believe this'll be an efficient game. Elverum scored 204 goals so far, 29.14 per game, and Halden was one goal better, so their average is a bit bigger. Elverum went over this margin 5 times, of course, against the teams that play faster handball, run a lot and shoot a lot. They had tough battles against OIF and Bod who are the best defensive teams, and they crushed Drammen and BSK, which I doubt Halden will. Another fact that works for this statistic is that three days ago, they played a tough game against OIF, so the defense might not be as strong, especially in the second part when fatigue starts taking its toll. Halden, on the other hand, play great. THey were under the set margin only twice, against Stord who played bad offensively, and Notteroy who don't allow anyone to score much. Their back line is great with Carslen, Jacobsen, and since coming back from an injury, Sodergran's been playing great, too. The three of them score a lot, and work great together on the court. A great example of Halden's efficiency is 36 goals they scored against Bod, one of the best defensive teams, and 30 to OIF in the away game. Elverum don't practice playing markers, but go into the open battle chest to chest, and I think backs on both sides will have lots of chances today, which they should use considering the quality. It's obvious that these odds aren't the real image of the situation, even though they're based on the statistics and some previous results against each other. Glogow are having more and more injury issues each day. Kubala and Lucak are out for a longer period, and Bak, Gujski, Swiatek, Witkowski and Biegaj didn't practice this week at all, and probably won't go out today. So, coach Przybylsi can only rely on 8 players and two goalies, which makes it hard to deal with anyone. If a team like Slask or Nelba were on the other side, maybe I'd believe they can get a positive outcome, but they'll host Stal who are playing great. They started the season with 3 wins in a row, played well but were still weaker against Gornik, and then they were sensational in Plock and got a point. They did all that without two most important players, Kostrzewa and Krieger who's coming back today and will definitely be a reinforcement. Considering the home team's complicated situation, the fact that their only positive results were against the second-league clubs, and the guest team's great form, I believe Stal's win is very likely, and worth taking.
