Glogow are in serious trouble and that should be taken advantage of. This morning it was officially confirmed Gujski, important on both ends, will be absent. They also miss Lucak, which is the biggest problem, as well as Kubala and Bak. Most of the burden will fall on Babicz, who came here from the very Pulawy they face now, so his former teammates will be well aware what to expect from him. BSK are out of form, that much is clear. They are missing Hippe, which proved to be an issue as their perimeter lineup is just not the same. Jungman was also missing on the goal, and returned in a Cup match, proving his value to the team. Although they do have their issues and their game did not seem to work up to now, I believe they can get their first victory today. If they cannot beat Lillestrom, who are basically a second league team if we're being honest here, then who can they beat? The backbone of the team is the same as last year, when they were impressive and made more serious teams than Lillestrom struggle, reaching playoff in the end. We should also not ignore the fact that this is just their second home match. In their last one Fyllingen did better, but BSK played a great second half. Last year they lost just 4 home games. The away team are coming in a good mood after two victories against Notteroy, a team down to their size, so we should not see it as a big thing. They showed their true colours in home defeats against DHK and Haslum, and the fact remains they have yet to play a tough away match against any of the favorites. BSK need to wake up, and this is a great chance, both for them and for me, and I'll have to back their decisive victory with a bigger stake. Stal's win against Pulawy definitely reduced the odds for today's game but I think MMTS are the slightly bigger favorites. I will just repeat the most important things. Kwidzyn have had a terrible season but no one was bothered about it. It was clear a new team was being created and they simply had to undergo that process. They didn't lose the core of their team during the summer and they should be fine now. A huge reinforcement is their keeper Dudek who justified his status in the first game. We should not forget that this MMTS got a draw against Wisla last year and lost against Kielce by a single goal. They have the quality, they just have to prove it. Stal, on the other hand, are on the brink of a disaster. They have no sponsors, and consequently, they have no salaries and if things don't change soon, they could be in a lot of trouble. Despite of that, the team has shown character during preparations against Pulawy but I think the defensive block will stop them today. Pulawy played a disastrous defense with even worse keepers in that game and Stal still didn't do too well. MMTS are better in this department and I don't think the visitors will score 30-something goals today. I wrote a similar pick for the Fyllingen - Haslum game when I was convinced that the home team can beat Haslum. Back then I was perhaps a bit too cautious, as that was the first game for Haslum with Mamelund gone and they did not get themselves together at all. Fyllingen won by +6 then, showing all the flaws of this very young Haslum team. After them Stord came for an away game to Haslum and beat them too, +2. Not as decisive a win, but a win, which is an added bonus for this bet. That same Stord twice played even with Fyllingen, they are one point short of getting to the semifinal, in shape, have a very good and experienced roster and are on a 6 game winning streak. As for losing at home, they've had only 4 home defeats this season, and the last of them was against Haslum who had Mamelund back then, scoring 17 of Haslum's 32 goals. Yes, you read right, 17 goals. The away team have improved lately, mostly thanks to Sagosen, but he will be shut down by Olson and Eriksen today, both defense specialists. As I see Fyllingen as stronger than both of these teams at the moment, despite them having split points with Stord the last time they played, I'll play a medium stake which pays great on the odds on offer, which will definitely go down. Margins were obviously based on statistics for this match, but it's not working for them. Still, I don't care about statistics much here. Polish league is extremely fast, that's obvious, but this match is one of those that have to be played aggressively if you want to win. If KPR lose, they'll be eliminated from the league, but Lubin have to get the points, too. I believe both teams will fight till the end, and with the pressure this match brings, both sides will make lots of mistakes, I think. As for the offensive power, KPR aren't brilliant anyway. Their game is based on a tough defense, they showed it in the last two matches they played to stay in the league, it ended with 44 and 51 goal. I have already written a tip for these two teams but the situation was somewhat different then. BSK were in good form then, unlike OIF who seemed ripe for relegation. I also put BSK as the favorites then and they ended up winning by 6 goals. The only thing that's changed is the form that BSK never seem to get. After a great spring season, they seem to have fallen asleep after securing the playoffs. They got 5 league defeats,3 of which in the playoffs and this drastically reduced their chances of going through. However, this is the same team that played very well a month ago and I believe they have a chance. One should take into consideration the fact that BSK have played 2 out of last 3 games away. They lost by a single goal against very defensive teams, which means it was very tight. In addition, their excellent backcourt had two poor days and I doubt they will repeat that today. Many bad things have happened but they're a completely different story at home. A win here is an absolute imperative, unlike for OIF, who will see the playoffs as just a bonus for their poor season. OIF are not much of an away team anyway. They have only taken points from away games on 4 occasions, 2 of which came against Notteroy, a team that barely avoided relegation and against Falk, a team that got relegation. I see BSK as the winners here, with a very profitable and very low handicap. Details

Elverum fumbled in the regular season, but there is little of that happening in the playoff as well. They are at the top of the table with two starting wins and have a great chance to get within a step of the semifinal today. They would need to get eight points for that, and the easiest way to do that would be two wins against OIF. The home team entered the playoff as the worst of the eight teams. They keep repeating this is a bonus for a very bad season that is behind them, so they have no imperative to achieve a result. The don't have the quality to pull off a surprise either. Truth be told, they do seem to be doing better lately, beating BSK at home, but Elverum are better than BSK, and have proven they're better than OIF earlier, when they won the same away game by 6 goals. I expect the similar to happen today as well, as the away team are coming with even better form than earlier, their coach Berge keeps repeating they are motivated to go all the way and I see them at 100% today. I think the margin is off by 2 goals, and I'll try to use that. A clean win pays great in a combo, but I believe this handicap can go through without a hitch. Details

Had this game been played 2 weeks ago I would still think about Fyllingen winning this one. The circumstances are different today and they speak even more in favor of my idea. Of course, Mamelund's absence might be the reason for a surprise result as he is a very important player. He was in great form he carried their entire team and the game was based on him and after all, he's the top scorer in the league, which says enough on its own. Due to ankle injury, he will not play in this playoffs and this decreases Haslum's chances dramatically as he is 50% of their team this season, as harsh as it may sound. Even though handball is a team game, he carried that game for his club. After all, they've done what they could. A young team that no one took too seriously reached the title and the qualifications for the CL and can go in the qualifications a bit more relaxed. On the other hand, Fyllingen are a really good team and have won the Cup but they won't stop there. There is some talk about the play-off finals and players like Reinkind, Bjornsen and Tangen are certainly able to get there. Considering the facts, I think Haslum are overrated. Firstly, this is a derby, so we will not waste space talking about motivation. Secondly, there is ranking. Lubin can no longer get into the playoff, and are now fighting for survival. This Runar team was not made to take the seventh spot. A team with Skilhammar, Branberger and the second top scorer in the league Rivesjo simply has to do better. Even though Runar have been struggling in defense lately, Falk don't have the quality in their attack to use it and I belieeve the home team will have no problem winning this game by 2 goals or more. As the situation is still crowded surrounding the 8th spot, there are even hopes of a playoff. Haslum still haven't achieved their goal, on the other hand. They're not looking good lately, they lost some games they shouldn't have and are slowly starting to get nervous. Fortunately, Elverum fumbled somewhat as well, so they are only one point apart. Haslum are hosting Elverum in the last round, and cannot enter that game with a two-three point lag by losing today, so they have a must-win situation. The recent results of both teams led to these margins and odds, but I believe Notteroy are overestimated a bit here. Mamelund and his guys won the first game by 12 goals, and the only thing changed since then is the atmosphere on both sides. I expect the away team to approach the game seriously, as they were only defeated by Elverum in their away games this season. Notteroy will have to look for their chances in the last round. Stord are not in a good form but they simply have to win today. They had a disastrous derby against Fyllingen which shook things up and put the coach and some players at risk. Captain Lundgren apologized to the fans and promised they would win the last to games. This season, Stord have lost only 3 games at home. In the last game, they gave Haslum a hard time and lost by only 3 goals. Three consecutive defeats have put their play-offs at risk and now the points are an imperative. Their only bright spot is their defense which can play a good game from time to time, but they are generally the outsiders in this game. That will be the case today. Elverum are a much better team and they are the reigning champions who want to repeat the success. They have only 3 defeats this season but they share the first spot with Haslum. Considering that Haslum are expecting a difficult away game at Runar, Elverum have to see this game as their chance. Even though they have not been too convincing in away games, I believe in their win, which pays more than it should which is why I recommend using it in a parlay as well. I will go for a slightly riskier option with the handicap that Elverum can cover without too much trouble if they go into this game with the right level of motivation and concentration.
