Csurgoi barely beat Bodo in the first qualifier round of the EHF Cup, despite winning 27-21 at home. They were very weakened in both duels - Faluvegi, Cavor and Hornyak didn't play in the first, and Faluvegi, Hornyak and Gazdag in the second.
Cavor is the best scorer in the last season, Faluvegi second, and Gazdag the third. Hornyak is the second right wing, so his absence isn't important, but the first three make 70% of their offensive power. Cavor was half-ready in Norway because they had no choice, he hit three goals, but I don't think they'll force him in this almost meaningless game. Even if they didn't have to deal with so many absences, Csurgoi would hardly go over this margin, and after a tough game they played on Sunday, they can hardly go over 10. Details

France have great advantage over Brazil in physicality, just like they did against Argentina. Brazil currently don't have any tougher opponent, except Slovenia maybe, who do not suit them, but France are at a higher level. They were very serious in the first halves so far and had a strong start of games, and it's a well known story that they are the best in elimination rounds. There will be no calculations here, Onesta rested everyone he needed and wanted to rest against Denmark, and still won the game, and now they will go after their third back-to-back Olympic gold.

It's clear to the selector and the players that there are two weeks left until the Olympics, and this serves as a wake-up call and that there's no time to relax. They will head into this game very seriously, and as such they're at least six to seven goals of difference stronger than Egypt. The defense they showed against Denmark is really solid for such a game level, and I believe that today they will show an even higher level against Egypt. They will bleed for each goal today. Egypt stood up to France until France kicked into higher gear in the defense, and they lost the match with the 8-0 series. At those moments they looked really lost, like a junior team put up against a senior one, and Omeyer and Narcisse didn't even get into the match. They recorded 11 goals in the second half, but had France kept on going, they wouldn't go over six or seven. They have a limited offense which was clearly see from those 15 minutes of the match, and bad news for this is that they will be put up against a serious team today.
Sigurdsson will again, like so far, start out with the strongest line-up. Lemke and Wiencek will be the basics, and all possible substitutes which they will make won't affect their quality. Egypt want to get through this match, they will have rotations which will affect their game and I don't see a scenario in which Germany won't have this in the bag by half-time. Germany did allow 14 goals against Tunisia by half-time, but this is a completely different match in which they will be far more serious, and they also have two more matches behind them. They left Denmark at 12 by half-time on Friday, Austria at seven in April, Qatar at nine in March as far as friendlies go with opponents similar to the ones they will have today (and realistically, even stronger). They left Sweden at nine goals in the second half at Euro, Slovenia at 10 by half-time, Hungary at nine, Spain in the finals at six... As for Egypt, they often struggle in friendlies too. Last year by half-time they recorded 10 against Brasil, eight against Poand, 13 against Romania (and by the end recorded only eight more), 14 against Korea (and only 11 until the end), nine against Russia, against Bahrain 24 in total, 10 against Latvia, 12 against Belarus in the second half... I'd put Germany defensively in front of all those teams, and I doubt that seriousness of any of those teams was at the same level Germany will be on today. Details

Hranice showed that they very limited offense-wise and if Plzen managed to limit them to 21, 21 and 23 goals, they will not be able to go over 25 against Karvina either. They played a faster game at one period of this season but as the season nears its end, their numbers drop. They played both home games against Frydek in quarterfinals well under this margin (45 and 42) with the exception of the away game in which the goalkeepers did nothing and the shooters took a lot of shots so it went to 55. They have both overs away with Plzen but they were trashed and conceded over 30, which Karvina cannot hit. They got limited to 51 by Plzen in regular season, to 46 by Zlin and to 47 by Zubri here. The stayed at just 41 goals by Lovosice in the Cup while the second game barely went over (53) even though the Hunters tried their best t make up for the deficit from the first leg. They have 12 unders at this margin since the spring part of the season started. They went over against Koprivnice as well, but they won that by 11 goals. It could be clearly seen yesterday just how much offensive problems Lovosice are having, especially against stronger zones like Plzen's. Plzen are a team that will not give away balls, they won't rush anything and they will go into the game with 100% if they want to solve this as soon as possible. Motlik is in great form and he saves most of what defense does not stop. so this bet makes sense to me.
Lovosice scored only six by halftime against Dukla, 11 at Karvina, and only 7 in the cup recently (at home 13 in the rush to catch up), 7 at Jicin, 10 against Hranice and 12 against Koprivnice. Their performances at home are much better than away so they scored more there, but even at home they scored only 9 by halftime against Plzen. They were limited to 10 against fast Zubri, 12 against Karvini, 11 against Zlin, 12 Brno, and Plzen like this cannot be put in the same sentence with these teams.
They limited Zubre to only 9 goals in the second half. Only 5 teams went over this margin in 13 games, counting in Porec in EHF Cup - Dukla, Karvina, Zubri, Frydek and Lovosice. That was at the time when Plzen were also playing in Europe so these numbers should be taken with reserve because their form is at a peak now.
