    I wouldn't usually go for this, but considering the fact that Conegliano played a tough five-set game in the Champions League on Thursday, and that they are at least a bit tired, I cannot disregard these odds in which a win by strong Modena, at least strong on paper - Cardullo, Piccinini, Fabris, Rousseaux, Ruseva, pays more than triple. The absence of Calloni for the home team has to be felt sooner or later and Kauffeldt is not on her level and I wonder whether she can play two great games in three days while Modena will surely be motivated to show that the game against Novara was just a bad day. Considering these circumstances, I think one should go for an away win for a smaller stake as you can benefit more from these odds than you can lose. Details

    I know going for the team that hasn't scored in five games might seem odd at first, but Energie are not so bad as the table would suggest, and they have to score eventually since they didn't forget how to play football. I believe this will happen against Frankfurt who have 4 defats in 6 games, are one of the worst away teams in the league, have a long list of absent players and there is a chance of them playing without a classic forward unless Kaplani recovers on time. In addition, one should also take into account that Energie's new coach has got the grip of some things in his team and he has the support of his fans, one of the loudest fans in Germany, and the home team should be able to take this game home in order for things to stop slipping out of their control.     Forli are looking better with every game they play. It is true that the results do not really show that, since they were up against much stronger opponents so far, but one cannot deny the progress visible in the way they play. I'm not claiming they will make up for the lag from the first game of these two teams and go on to the cup quarterfinal. I am inclined to believe, however, that they will at least take one set. If they managed to do so last weekend in Modena, they are definitely capable of doing so at home. That then would be perfectly sufficient for this point margin to be passed, as it is hard to imagine every set would be won with a hefty lead for the winner. Details

    Ornavasso are the most pleasant surprise of the season so far, having beaten Arsizio and Frosinone in an away game, and might have tumbled Modena as well with a bit more luck. Taking their good form into consideration - along with the fact that theirs is a higher quality team than Urbino - the option of them winning in three sets in front of their own crowd definitely seems like a viable bet with these odds. Even more so since this is a cup game where they will be looking to secure the best possible position for the rematch, and therefore it makes a big difference if the score is 3-0 or 3-1. A possible difficulty lies in the fact that Ornavasso are expected to win today, which they were not in previous games. However, if they could pull themselves together after Arsizio turned 0-2 into 2-2 and still win the tie-break, I believe they will be able to handle being favorites in this game. Still, due to that new situation, I recommend a somewhat more modest bet. Details

    The numbers speak for themselves, Furth and Padeborn are the most efficient teams in the league and since their defenses are far from solid which means this should be a game filled with goals, even though the stats should never be taken for granted. Anyway, the fact is that most games these two team played recently had more than two goals, in some cases these were righteous goalfests (Aue-Furth 2-6, Fortuna Padeborn 1-6, Furth - St Pauli 2-4, Padeborn - Fraknfurt 4-2) and with odds as good as these, I believe one should go for an over. Padeborn have scored at least a goal in their last 4 games and they announced to go into this game relaxed (which I believe should be the case), and I think Furth will score at least 2 goals which should be more than enough for this bet to go through.     Sandhausen have scored only eight goals in 12 rounds, for the worst offense in the league. On the other hand, they improved on defense compared to last year, especially at home, where they are undefeated, allowing only three goals in six games (two of which vs Cottbus back in August, while Energie still knew how to score a goal). Not counting that game, all others ended with under three goals, and everything kind of points towards this one not being anything spectacular either, as Frankfurt are not very good in away games either. The odds for under are solid, and keeping in mind the stats so far, deserve a moderate bet. Details

    A team that have the ambition to fight for the play-offs, and Leeds are that team, should win against Yeovil at home. Considering they're playing on their own pitch where they're traditionally strong, and where they won two last games, I'm prone to believe that with the right approach, winning the third one won't be an issue, regardless of guests connecting two good results after the national team break, and moving from the bottom of the league table like that. This will be a new situation for Yeovil, too. So far, when they would go for an away game, nobody had any expectations, but today, that won't be the case. It's questionable whether they'll be able to put up with the pressure of the Elland Road's hot atmosphere where a lot stronger opponents than they are used to lay down the weapons. Leeds have been extremely efficient lately, and with the optimal focus on the defense, they should deal with this to their own advantage. Details

    I base this bet assuming Forli will win at least one set, and I believe that's not mission impossible for them on the home court. If they were a bit more brave, they could have done it in Piacenza, too. In comparison to that game, they're stronger because they now have Carmen Turlea, whose name speaks for itself. It's clear she still has to learn to play with the rest of the team, but her presence alone will call for respect on the court, and that could lead to certain oscillations from the young Arsizi team. Their coach will definitely try to do combinations to make the strike forces readier for Tuesday, for the match against Conegliano in the Champions league, which is a lot more important for them. In circumstances like these, the option of going over this margin seems quite realistic, the guests will probably win the game, but it's easily possible it won't happen in three sets. Details

    I know it's a bit unusual to support a team that haven't beaten anyone in the 11 games played, but out of seven tied games, Sheffield could have turned at least three or four into a win, so the effect isn't completely realistic, and according to the big numbers law, they should get a chance one of these days. Barnsley have a fragile defense, the worst in the league, and they concede about 2,5 goals per game, which makes them an ideal opponent to break a dark series. It's unlikely that Sheffield won't be able to score, and if they tighten up their defense a little bit, they'll get very close to winning. The odds are good, and it would be a waste not to use them with a small stake. Details

    Although in the English second division numbers can be relative, the fact that Leicester are currently 15 places and 14 points ahead Doncaster is no longer a coincidence. It pretty much depicts the difference in quality of the two teams. The away team are in a good rhythm, have a standard line-up and are capable of plucking out a win even when they're not at their best. And when it is known that the home team's game has been fluctuating, to say the least, and that they've lost three out of five home games, 2 somewhat stands out as a good choice. Of course, not with an enormous amount, this is still the Championship, but a moderate stake will do just fine. Details

But I will follow the logic that the away team have started playing in accordance to their true quality with the arrival of their new coach, and that it is time for them to reach success to play according with their true quality, are simply a better at the away game. In case they play today they way they know, the hosts, despite their tenacity, should not escape defeat. In the end, Arminia's position on the ladder is not real and objectively it is only a matter of time when their fall would arrive. After all, until recently they have been playing in the third league, and it is hard to believe that they can they can stay in the upper echelons of the table in the long run. Details

    Yes, I know Aalen is a strong team and that they destroyed Kaiserslautern in their last home game. What I don't understand is why they are declared slight favorites in a match against undoubtedly better Munich who is one of the main candidates for promotion. That is why I think it would be a sin not to play on the guests win, especially with very good odds. Even though they might have a difficult game, I find it hard to believe that their eventual success is paid almost triple. Especially in the situation where a new coach has arrived at the club, and every player will want to prove himself in order to keep his status in the locker room. Details
