Melsungen had a slip in the first round but Stuttgart are not just some team. Things will be different today. Gummer are currently at the level of Friesengem, Huttenberg and Lubbecke. The margin is low but based on what we saw in Argentina last week, the offensive ends are definitely the weakest segments on both teams. The h2h meeting finished at 130 points, with 8-5 in the first qualifier. That is not realistic but neither is 50 in the last quarter. Colombia are the home team here and will try and out up a fight. Brazil have 12 pretty unknown players and their offense isn't great either. Colombia played Argentina, who probably have the best offensive end out of all the teams here, at 137 last week. Granger played Colombia last week in a game that finished at 76-74 but that was the meeting Uruguay played after meeting Argentina and Brazil. It was obvious they weren't going full throttle. Batista didn't play much, Colombia hit 5-6 three pointers in the first quarter so the 150 mean nothing. Uruguay are offensively better than Brazil. Puerto Rico and Mexico are in this group too. They have a team taht never played a game together. Mexico have 4 players from the starting 5 of that game. Only point guard Stoll is out but they have a good replacement for him. I think Puerto Rico are too much of a favorite here. Mexico should be the favorites and I expect them to record an opening win. Details

Leichlinger seem to be a mystery since they didn't play yesterday. Their opponents went bankrupt and didn't show up here.
Leichlinger was the 5th team of 3rd league West, 24 points of champions Neusser. They lost 35-30 away and 35-25 home. A lot of their games went towards 70 goals. They had the second worst defense in the league, with only the written off Ratingen conceding more. They conceded an average of 31,7 goals per game, scored 32,7 and their games were at 64,4. I expect 65-70 goals today.
Hannover didn't get a win in the last 16 rounds of last season. They changed the coach but the defense still won't be great, while the offense and transition won't change. They can score a lot. Yesterday, they were 10-17 down around minute 40 against Lubbecke. They scored 16 until the end and turned things around. Ii will be easier for them to play today, I'm sure of that. Last year in the Cup, they played overtime with Bad Schwarau and then 38-24 against Dessauer.
