Angers recorded 4 straight league wins to get mid-table but Marseilles got back to winning last week too

After losing to PSG in the league and Monaco in the cup, Marseilles finally recorded a win. They had a trip to Lorient to play a bottom-table opponent. Marseilles put up a convincing performance to record a 4-1 win. Those three new points saw them join the race for Europe again.

Rudi Garcia set himself one goal for the Anders game:

- Our goal is to be in spot 5 on Friday night and we can get there only by beating Angers. We need to get three points tonight. We have displayed progress in the last round and that proves that we learn from our mistakes. I insist on details and there was a lot hat was not good in the defeats. Things seemed a lot better in Lorient. 

Bafetimi Gomis, Patrice Evra, Tomaš Hubočan and Abou Diaby are still out with injuries but left back Bedim and right back Sakai are back on the team. 

Angers got in the danger zone at one point but mid-February, whe things were at their worst, they finally started putting up better performances. Coach Moulin said that previous games were against top opponents and that Angers can count on points starting with February games. He was right. In the last 4 rounds, his team beat Lille, Nancy, Bastile and Caen. They grabbed 12 points to get mid-table. 

Coach Moulin is still careful though:

- I constantly say to my players that nothing is done yet. We were good early season but a bad run saw us get in the danger zone. Everyone on the team has to be aware that we will be punished for bad approach. Two-three defeats could get us back in the danger zone. Things will definitely be easier today. Getting ready for a tough game at Velodrome is much easier when you're on a winning run. We were very efficient in the last few games and our goal is to keep that up. We are not favorites but we can stun our opponents. 

Moulin still cannot count on Jamel Saihi, Alexandre Letellier, Billy Ketkeophomphone and Yoann Andreu.
