Berizzo rested a part of the first-team players in an away game against Sporting, and today Celta should head against Espanyol with full force

It was noticeable that Celta were drained from the away game in Ukraine, but despite the fatigue, they continued their positive run and earned a point in an away game against Gijon. With the earned point Celta kept their tenth position, and if they win today, they would skip over Espanyol, making it to the ninth place.

- I'm very pleased with the point we earned in Gijon, especially since we were subordinated for most of the match. But, that's no surprise since we were really tired, and in the end the key thing proved to be bringing in Iago Aspas and the fact that the home player got sent off. The important thing is that we continued the positive run and today we expect the same against Espanyol. I managed to rest some players in the last round and today they're surely back among the starting eleven, but I still haven't brought the final decision about which players I'll send out from the start - said the Argentinian manager Eduardo Berizzo.

Standard defender Jonny Castro is done with the suspension and will be back among the starting eleven today. Stopper Facundo Roncaglia will pause out of the same reason today, but Andreu Fontas is more than just a better alternative. Compared to the last round, Celta should start out in a stronger line-up, so thus Pione Sisto, Iago Aspas and John Guidetti should be in the offense from the first minute.

Espanyol hosted Osasuna after tying two defeats, and the arrival of the bottom-table team in Barcelona was just what they needed. With no bigger shocks, Espanyol reached a very convincing win with which they ended the negative run, and they also managed to make it through to the top half of the championship table.

After the convincing win, Europe was mentioned, but Quique Sanchez Flores remained calm:

- I don't know anything about Europe, nor am I interested in stories like that. We have a lot of matches to go before the end, and in May we'll know the answer to that question. What's important to me is to continue the good games and to win points, and where we'll be in the end remains to be seen. We're up for a very tough away game in Vigo in which I'll rotate the team in order to get what I want from my players. We know Celta's quality and they're actually the club, next to Villarreal, that I want to imitate. So, I want to make this team to be such that one day other managers will say that they want to be like Espanyol too.

Marc Navarro is fully ready and will be among the starting eleven today. David Lopez is also ready and he's been announced in the midfield. Only Leo Baptistao and Victor Sanchez remain absent, but they've been injured for some time now.
