Durant out for a month

Only 93 minutes into the Wizards game, Durant suffered a knee injury which will sideline him from the court for almost the entire reminder of regular season

Chicago were on a 4-game winning run, which finally got them more wins then losses but the last game once again set them back. They played home and still lost to the Nuggets 107-125.

The main reason for it was the very bad second half, which they lost 69-48, mostly because of the defensive end, which allowed the Nuggets 60 percent shooting. Besides that, they were not aggressive enough in offense and ended up with just 10 free throws compared to 24 the Nuggets had. They were outrebounded 45-35 as well.

Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo hit team-high 19 points each, while Buttler added just 8 with 3-for-13 shooting.

- He just couldn't found rhythm. A lot of attacks went through him but that wasn't the case this time - coach Hoiberg said. He said that his team has two goals for the rest of the season. The first one is to secure playoffs and the second one is to give young players a chance, especially Portis, Payne and Lauvergne. 

- We played the last game with 11 players and that's tough. We definitely want to see what the younger players can do. 

This was the third start to the season since Gibson left and their best game with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Payne got 17 minutes and fired 10 shots to hit only 2 for a total of 6 points. Lauvergne spent just 4 minutes on the floor. 

They will now face the Warriors, who are shaken but not by the 112-108 defeat to the Wizards. What shocked them was Durant's injury only 93 seconds into the game. In spite of that, they had a chance to win but Curry missed the key three pointer with 10 seconds left to go. They got behind very early on but managed to get close as the final quarter started. 

- That was the kind of shot I normally hit. I was confident. You live for those kind of moments but the ball didn't get through this time - Curry said. He finished the game with 25 points and 7 rebounds. 

Thompson hit 16 points even though he went just 5-for-20 (3-for-13 from the three point range). Green added 14 points with 14 assits and 8 rebounds. Livingston hit 14 points too, while Pachulia added 12 points with 8 rebounds.
