Marseilles suffered an embarrassing loss in the derby match to PSG

Monaco are still in the race in all competitions, which will force Jardim to change the lineup against Marseilles, who are looking to make amends for the disastrous game against their biggest rivals

There was hope that the greatest French derby will finally display some level of tension and close game but nothing of the sorts happened in the end. Rudi Garcia has definitely improved Olympic's game since he joined the team but PSG are still a completely different level. Marseilles got trashed in the derby match and will now have just as difficult a task at Velodrome. 

Rudi Garcia kept it short when talking to the press yesterday:

- It was humiliating for us. I'm furious with what we did. I'm angry at myself, at the players, at our game. We need to display a much better game and at least partly make up to the fans. 

Marseilles lost Evra to an injury over the weekend. He will be out at least until the end of March. Diaby, top scorer Gomis, Sarr and Hubocan have been out for a while now.

Monaco had a slip in Bastille but they didn't allow any surprises in Guingamp last weekend. They managed to win 2-1 at a stadium where PSG, Lyon and Marseille recorded defeats this season, to stay 3 points ahead of their runner-ups in the table. 

Monaco are a goal machine this season. The home team's defense was rather feebly last round but Jardim is still cautious:

- I don't want to talk about Olympique's bad defense. I always observe things by including all the aspects. Granted, Marseilles didn't do great in the derby match but that is why they will look to make amends now. Our greatest problem is the schedule but I have no right to say that one competition is more important than others. Of course, we want to win and we want success in the Cup too. With that said, there will probably be some changes to the lineup. 

Gabriel Boschilia is still injured- Defender Glika, forward Carillo and Falcao are out with injuries as well. 

Monaco beat Marseilles twice in the championship this season - 4-0 home and 4-1 at Velodrome.
