KooTeePee are still not sure about the playoffs, and in order to succeed in that they need a point (or for Jaro not to win in an away match against Seinajoki), but today they can do a lot more. By beating Ilves (and with Vaas not winning in an away match against Mariehamn) they would avoid the playoffs. Ilves have been safe for some time, and that safety killed their motivation so they lost the last four matches, and I believe that they will conclude the season like that. The hosts are missing a single player (Anttilainen), while Ilves have one suspended (Juuti), and three of them are questionable (Aho, Korte, Hjelm), but there is absolutely no sense to expose anyone to a new injury in such an unimportant match, at least for the away team.
