We had 1,60 at Croatia against Cuba and now have 1,35 at Croatia against Colombia. Colombia are better than Cuba, which they proved last season when they beat them 3-1 at Grand Prix. The Colombians won easily by 14 points. Compared to the last season, they have two great players Montano and Moreno now. Add the good blocker Zuleta Garcia to the mix. We can say that this Colombia is some 40% stronger than last year's Colombia. Croatia beat Cuba 3-1 yesterday by 18 points in total. I would estimate this at 55-45 for Croatia who have Fabris, Topic, Jerkov but also a young libero and no so experienced blockers. It will take them time to get working together. I think we can expect a close match. Colombia have been in training longer than Croatia. They have had one month of preparation played the qualifying tournament for the Olympics at which they lost the key match to Puerto Rico. Croatia lost to weaker Puerto Rico in Grand Prix last year. They are of similar quality now and know what a tough game this will be. I agree with that. The Croatians cannot be such heavy favorites. I would maybe even set the odds at Colombia willing which we can find at the pretty high points handicap at Colombia.
