Romanian top player Neagu not playing was all over the media while the fact the Spanish have the new coach who has never coached a female team and who has 7 new players gets ignored. Spain's players are 21,5 years on average. They are without Pena, Mangue, Oinedo. Romanians won the SO in 2014 and bronze last season at WC. Those players are on the team now.
This is not the first time they play without Neagu. They did the same at the last EC in Sweden and beat Germany 23-22 in the game for spot 5.
