About tips
Betprepare is much more than just tips. Our experts specialized in following particular leagues write previews with premium betting information that, coupled with our interactive stats, can be used to find excellent bets. Tips written by our experts are just "the icing on the cake", but certainly not the basic or the only service we have to offer. We are trying to provide you with ready-made betting advice in good faith and with best intentions.
Calculating the success rate for tips
Our every tip comes with a certain stake or certainty, which is marked from 1 to 10 (for instance, a stake can be 5 "units"). If a tip is successful, the return of this tip is positive (Return = Stake * Odds - Stake), and if the tip is unsuccessful, the return is negative and equals Return=-Stake. For instance, if your stake is 5 units, and the odds are 1.85, the return will be 5*1.85-5=+4.25 in case of a positive result and -5 in case of a negative result. Our overall success rate or tipster success rate is given by adding returns for each bet. "Yield" is a term which refers to the ratio of return and stake, and is denoted in percentages. For instance, if 100 units have been invested in a certain period and the return of 10 units has been achieved, the yield is 10%.
This method for calculating the success rate is common and is practically a standard method for all betting predictions providers. But, even if you consistently follow all predictions with a matching stake, it is hard to achieve the identical profit as in the hypothetical situation, due to margin/odds changes. These changes prevent you from achieving the profit identical to that in the hypothetical situation, but it could and should still be much higher than the cost of subscription.
Changes in odds and margins, availability of bets
The odds used to calculate the success rate for a certain tip are valid for the tine the prediction was published at. In some cases the published odds can be different (sometimes bigger, but usually smaller) than the odds the user can get when making the bet, and the margins can differ as well (betting on total number of points, handicap/spread, etc.). We cannot affect, prevent, or predict that in any way. All tips are published in good faith and best intentions with odds available at the moment of publishing, and what happens to them after than is beyond our control and generally unpredictable for us..
However, if and when the odds/margins change, the bet is still valid. Each bet contains the information of the minimal odds and the minimal margin at which the bet is worth making. Even if the odds or margins were moved below the suggested level, you can still use the tip or preview to find out if there is another type of bet that could be made.
The odds we publish are the best odds on the market provided by the most renowned bookmakers in the world. These bets are usually available in a large number of betting houses, sometimes at similar odds, sometimes at lower odds. If you have access to a larger number of bookmakers, you will be able to make some bets at higher odds, thus achieving higher profit.
While most of our tips are available in a large number of bookmakers, some of them are available only in a few bookmakers. We are aware that some of our users will not be able to make this bet in this case, so we are faced with a decision whether to withhold the bet or publish it. We believe that it is better to publish it as nobody gains anything if we withhold this information, and the users who can make that bet are able to make use of it. The other users can use the prediction or preview to draw another conclusion or focus on the numerous other tips we have to offer.
How to bet on our tips?
Although we may publish an article on betting theories and systems in the future, our primary task is to find good tips and betting information, and we are very good at this. The hypothetical situation used to describe the earning you could have made by betting on our predictions is not our suggestion and you do not have to follow it to the letter - it is only a way of showing how successful our predictions are and how much you could have earned by betting in one of many possible ways.
Of course, that does not mean that you cannot try your own way of betting on these tips. For instance, you can choose to follow only certain tipsters, you can ignore the bets with smaller stakes, you can follow only certain sports, you can value your stakes in a different way (for instance, using the exponential increase instead of linear). Each person choses his or her own way to bet.
In addition, you do not have to bet on singles; you can also make doubles or multiple bets. Such bets have a higher risk but also have a higher potential profit and are usually worth playing when you have a chance to make several good bets which multiplies the value of each individual bet.
Any way you choose to bet, having accounts with several bookmakers and betting on tips early will increase your chances to make the best at higher odds and make a bigger profit.
In the end, we would like to re-iterate - you can always use the quality previews and stats we publish to make several good bets instead of relying only on our expert's tips.
