    Ludwigsburg have so far shown that they will base their game on a fast transition. They are a team without a true center, but with a very fast and athletically strong backs, and it's not weird that they've in the three home matches on a 170 points average. In five meetings they managed to stay under 169 points only against defensively oriented Bremerhaven. Today they're hosting Gottingen whose game style is well-known. On two away games they played matches with 175 points total. As well as the hosts, they don't have a classical five-team, so they base all their game on the out shot and less game five-on-five. All in all, both teams can boast with solid attacks, but also with an unconvincing defense game. For example, Ludgwigsburg on average receives around 83 points, while the away team around 88, and considering the style of the game it's hard to expect anything else except for an attractive meeting.     Nancy lost the last two championship games and are currently on a 2-3 record. I therefore expect them to respond today. They did much better in Eurocup than against Nenterre and Chalon, and Cholet are even worse than the three previous opponent. Nancy destroyed them home 86-60 and Cholet scored 29 points in the first three quarters. I expect Nancy to be too big a challenge for Cholet. Dijon were weakened in the first round and Gravelines should have won, being in a 7-point lead three minutes before the end. Kunter's team did horribly in the win over Le Mans last week. I think Cholet had big problems with rebound in that game and that might be the problem today as well. Nancy have one of the best teams in the league when it comes to rebounding and I don't think Cholet can keep up with them today. They lost easily to each and every good team and lost to Nanterre last year by a double-digit point difference. Nancy are in a tough situation in the league and I expect them to be very focused and tough today. Details

    Feyenoord are on a four-game winning streak and headed for the top with the best defense in the league. Feyenoord met Cambuur away last Sunday and our tip was that the home team won't lose. But, Feyenoord took advantage of home team's mistake late in the second half to settle the score, not allowing the home team to create a single chance till the end, while at the same time not having any themselves. Feyenoord are meeting Zwolle today in Rotterdam, but their record home this season is not very good - they recorded three defeats and three wins. They meet Rijeka home next week in a game that is crucial in Feyenoord Euroleague campaign.
    All of that means Zwolle might be a tougher opponent than the odds suggest. They already beat PSV and Vittese this season and played a draw with Ajax in Amsterdam.
    Zwolle lost by more than a goal only once and they're very motivated.
    I'm opting for the bet that Zwolle might lose, but not by more than one point. If Feyenoord take the lead, they won't push and will try and stay ahead, which they do well. The four-game winning streak might even end today... Details

    Although this season they planned to be in the upper half of the chart, no one expected such a good season for Guimaraes. However, if we look at their opponents to far, only the draw with Porto (with the help of the judge) is the result worthy of the position they're currently holding because all of the other five wins they achieved were against the clubs who belong into the lower half. Because of the lack of finances they were forced to youthen up their team which, combined with a couple of absences today, should be felt the most in the inexperienced defense for which I believe won't be able to withstand Sporting's attacks who have in the last three away matches, two of which were against Porto and Schalke, scored 10 times, and none less efficient were they against Maritimo who scored four goals to Guimaraes. Sporting are currently in the mood for scoring, but regarding them we have a very similar situation as was the case last season. No matter the results, in betting houses they're still not quoting like Porto or Benfica, not even in periods when they're showing better football and/or scores. Such was the case for most of the part last season, and it seems the case will be the same this one as well, although the bookmakers reacted on the win and lowered the bar unlike at the beginning of the week. Sporting didn't lose here for six seasons and I believe that will remain the same after this away game as well which should be in their case at least one goal more efficient than a couple of matches before, and since their defense is not the most secure one, the best option seems like the team over.     Stuttgart have a better roster than Thuringer and that's without question. After some excellent performances in the preparation period, they're still struggling in the championship. They failed against Kopenicker in the last round and because of that Thuringer is set as a favorite in this match. I can't agree with that, I expect a real match from Stuttgart's side this time. A better job from Renkema than last week, as well as from Malevic. A stable reception with which the offense will do an easier job. Thuringer have opened the championship quite well, played a good two sets against Schweriner, beat Hamburg. What can be said about them is they oscillate, they have ups and downs, so Stuttgart isn't here without chances. I will bet on the away team here because they have a better roster, a longer bench, and I expect them to finally play through. This is a meeting in which they will try to pull out from the unexpected defeat in the last round; at the very least this is a 50-50 match so here we have a value bet. Details

    Usak have had a great last season and managed to reach play-off as the 7th best team in the league. They were lead by Ozan Bulkaz, who was reinstated after his last season's assistant got the team on a 0-3 record. I expect a response today and I don't think there's any reason for a margin set this high. I'm not sure whether that is a consequence of the 100 points they scored last week, but those 100 points against Telekom are not how they usually perform. If we take a look at their last 10 games (4 in preseason, 3 in the Cup, and three league games) they had three overs at this margin (157.5), one against the weakened Sibenik, the second one at 159 points in the Cup game with Efes, and the aforementioned game with Telekom. 137 points were scored in their only home game with Istanbul. The away games were bad defense-wise, with them conceding a lot of points. Lead by Bulkaz last season, they had 10 unders home at 157 in 15 games of regular season. The visitors are on a 3-0 record and want to keep the streak going, while Usak have motif to impress the new coach and following all the defeats should respond (defensively). Details

That shouldn't change in today's match. Last year Raonic Berdych have met on this tournament. The first set went into a tie-break and ended only after 25 played points. In the entire match we only saw one break. They also played in Bangkok last season, also indoors. It was a similar result, only two break-points and a tie-break of the first set.     The odds are heavily influenced by the torture Eczacibachi had in the season opener, and the tradition of their head-to-head matches with Vakif. If we analyze the roster a bit better we can find value for Eczacibashi. Both teams have changed half the starting line-up, with a lot of new players joining and not having enough time to adjust. Eczacibasi have the well organized Asuman-Neslihan duo and other thing is Neslihan, who started the new season rested after doing the whole preseason with the team. One of Vakif's former players is not at home team and might have the key role at blocking Vakif's attempts. Reception is their driving force, but Gozde and Gizem have both had a busy summer with the Turkish national team. I think that will affect their game this season. I expect a very close match and the offered handicap at the home team winning at least 2 sets in this match is worth paying attention to Details

    Taipans will pulverize the Kings. That was their first thought after the Taipans-Breakers match. Wilbekin is currently the best play of the league because he's the only one who's complete. He throws in a double-digit number of points per game, and that does an excellent job in moving other players. Taipans have an impressive 5-0, and that ratio gets even more significant when taking into consideration the fact that one of the best shooters of the last season, Cam Gliddon, didn't even warm up yet. Only in the last match did he show signs of his last season's shooter shape, and since Wilbekin is ensuring him a lot of open shots, we're expecting a lot more from him during the rest of the season. Taipans made a huge improvement rebound-wise. Tragardh proved to be an excellent addition and it's without question that they are a team who defend their paint the best. On the other hand, it's a different thing with the Kings. They're dependent on three players who scored 47% of points, and they're missing one of them. We're talking about Childress who is even more important on the rebound. Gilddon has a good medicine for Magden in their mutual duels. Now Ben will have to force himself even more which goes to Gilddon's advantage. Besides that, Sydney are arriving after a difficult away match in Perth, the atmosphere in the team is bad, and they also complained on the Childress suspension decision. With Taipans everything seems unnaturally good, they have the advantage on the play position and in the pain as well and I'm convinced that they will beat Sydney with minimum 20 points of difference. They have a huge problem tonight because they won't have their goalie Bobrovki to count on and have no proper substitute for him. Wisiniewski is still out, and their offense can't count on half of the players. I think this team is not at a level that can see them put up a good fight - they simply miss too many players and like that can stand up to only worse teams.
