    Taking into consideration only stats, this margin makes sense. Dijon's championship games end at 146.8 points on average, Reims' at 163.7 points. A defense-oriented team meets a offense-oriented opponent. Whose style will prevail? Dijon's, I think. Dijon are an open book, Reims are the mystery here. They are playing a very productive game, averaging 81.0 per game, but things are not as they seem here...When it comes to total points bets, number of points from the floor is very important since it suggest what the game pace and shooting percentages are, with the ladder being the tell-tail sigh of defense efficiency. Reims have had 60 attempts from the floor on average so far, scoring with a 50% efficiency. But, they played mostly offense-oriented teams the first few rounds, with Chalon (173 points), Boulogne (164 points) and Pau Orthez (174p) games blowing up their stats. Chalon played no defense early in the season, Boulogne conceded 230 the last two games, while Reims had an amazing field goal efficiency of 66% with Pau Orthez. But, that has nothing to do with the kind of game they're in for today. Only two of their previous games can be relevant for the one taking place today - the 76-69 defeat to Nancy home and the Cup game they lost 66-63 here. Those meetings proved what kind of game Reims play when meeting top defenses. They won't be trying to outrun the opponents today and almost certainly won't have field goal efficiency of over 50%. Both teams recorded 52 shots from the floor (and 27 free throws combined). Dijon had shooting percentage of 48%, Reims of 42%. The game ended with 129 points. I expect a similar meeting today, both with regards to pace and shooting percentages. If it turns out according to my expectations, it should end well below this margin. Borg knows he need to stop Reims' Americans and this game is very important since his team have a 3-3 record after 6 rounds. Details

    46 goals where scored in Redberslids and Ricoh's first game, and not much has change to suggest a more productive game today. On the contrary, both now have more stable defenses - Rocoh conceded 17 in two out of the last 3 rounds, with only Alignsas managing to score 29 after deciding to try and outrun Ricoh. On the other hand, RIK conceded 21 to Alignsas, and only 23 against Drott, who like fast pace as well. With points in this game being very important for both opponents, I expect both teams to focus on defenses, their driving forces. Also, Arnesson, who's struggling with an thigh-muscle injury, is RIK's only true scorer and don't think he can score 9 goals and add 3 assists today like he did in the first head-to-head game with Ricoh. That makes counter-handicap a very good choice, but I think that under at Ricoh still has greater value. Details

    A win over Bayern was a historical achievement for Turow, marking their opening success in Euroleague and acquiring some extra confidence ahead of this game. They now face Polpharma, one of the weakest teams of the Polish championship. Coach Rajkovic says he will be happy only if his team play with as much determination and effort as they do in Euroleague. Visitors have never won in Zgorzelec. They lost the last three away games by 22 points or more and seemed to have much better teams the few previous seasons. They are particularly bad away, having lost to Kutno by 18 points, Rosa by 42, and to less-than-convincing Anwil by 23 last round. It was Anwil's only win this season. Turow beat Rosa by 19 only three days after the tough away game in Barcelona. They had more time to rest and prepare after the Bayern game, meaning fatigue won't be a problem today. Extra problem for Polipharma is the fact they can't count on their only proper point guard Blackmon. They have Meier and Ravenel in the paint, but we'll have to wait and see what exaclty twe two of them will be able to do faced with Kulig, Dylewicz and other centers at Turow. Turow score an average of 91 point in the Polish league, while Polpharma concede as many away. The visitors will clearly have a lot of problems stopping Turow's fast-pace game. Details
