    The Croatian third league team Opatija, who ended up ninth last year in the West Group, is celebrating 105 years of existence today and they invited Rijeka to celebrate that. They also met recently, in October last year, and as part of the Croatian cup when Rijeka were better with 3-0 win. Matjaz Kek first took his team to Gorski kotar where they did the preparations, an today's match is their first test as part of the preparations for the new season. In a week he will take them to Kranjska Gora where the preparations will continue. Three of Rijeka's players has flu problems these days (Mocinic, Males and Tomasov). However, there is still a chance for them to play today. In this time last year, Rijeka beat Rudar in a test game with 5-0 (June 27th), and then Sarajevo a week later with 3-1.     This is a typical story when it comes to Karlović, backed up by the statistics. Ivo started 15 of his last 19 grass-court duels with a tie-break, and there were a lot of players weaker than Kohlschreiber. The German doesn't have numbers that great, but he did play a tie-break in the first set in four of the last nine grass-court duels (including the exhibitons). What's also worth the mention are his duels against Karlović - of four times they played each other, they started the match like that three times, playing seven tie-breaks altogether.
