Apparently they got into the good rhythm because 10 days ago they played the Olympics qualifications. Venezuela played there in a very tough group, and they left a good impression. They took a set to Japan and Australia, and two sets to France and Iran, and throughout the tournament they raised their game level. They have a physically strong team, and the Italian coach raised their organization level and he's being favored for his great success at the last European championship where everything favored Slovenia. Gianni knows that they are the best opponents this weekend and that they need a good game in order to win Venezuela will have their chances and I think they will take a set, and if it's a good day, they could even win.     After yesterday's triumph against the hosts of the second tournament in Group A, Albania (3-1), Slovakia definitely became the winners of this group and secured the Europa League semi-finals. In it, Slovakia will meet up with the winners of Group C, Slovenia. The first semi-finals match is in three days in Ljubljana, while the second leg will be played next weekend in Slovakia. And that's where I see two main reasons for today's pick for Poland. Slovakia accomplished their goal, they have no result motivation today. On the other hand, they're up for two important duels against Slovenia, and there's a big chance that the main players will be spared today because of that. Poland is playing in this Europa League with their B team, a mix of talented girls who were Europe's gold cadets in 2013, and a couple of experienced players who are on the senior list. They don't stand a chance to get into Europa League semi-finals, and in the last five matches in this group Poland won twice and lost thrice. Three of the matches were played in five sets, and every time they won at least a set, and they were never in a -10 or more minus. Two weeks ago, in the first tournament, they lost to Slovakia after five sets and with -9 point difference.
