    I think the best option here is total goals at 2,5 margin. These two teams met in Europa League semis a few months ago. Ajax won 4-1 home, Lyon 3-1 home. Both teams play a similar, offense-oriented game with 3 forwards. Lyon's championship games were second most efficient in the French championship (3,29 goals on average) and Ajax finished the season with an average of 3 goals per game in the Dutch championship. Lyon went over 2,5 goals in the last 5 out of 6 games, apart from the Sporting game (1-0) a year ago. Ajax went over 2,5 in 8 out of the last 10 friendly games and 7 went over 3,5. Everything but another efficient game would be a surprise here. Details

    I expect both teams to be efficient in this game. Zwolle have played 6 test games so far, 5 of which finished with over 2,5 goals. The only exception is a meeting with a fourth-tier team that ended as a goalless draw. Out of 14 friendly matches they played in the past year, 11 finished with over 2,5 goals. They averaged 3,12 goals per game last season and recorded overs in 23 out of 34 rounds. 14 out of those 23 finished at over 3,5 goals. Alemere are a second division team that played three test games so far. All three of them finished at 5+ goals. We need to point out the Groninigen game which they lost 3-2. Groningen had goal average identical to Zwolle (3,12) in the top Dutch league. They went over 2,5 goals in the last 9 friendly matches over the last year. They finished the season in spot 3 of the second league when it comes to goal average (3,68). In 38 rounds of the second league, they went over 2,5 goals in 24 and 8 of those finished with 5+ goals, 3 with 7+ goals. That might not be too relevant as it didn't happen recently but only one out of their last 5 h2h games finished at under 2,5 goals. Anything but another productive game would be a surprise here.     Since I expect a very tough game here as both teams prefer that game style, the tip I like most is first half under. I think Denmark will win this and that both teams will get into this game carefully since it's the first one in the championship. Slovenia need to make up for their lack of quality with as less turnovers as possible.

    This Danish generation averaged 14,6 goals in the first half at 2014 EC, 23,9 at 2015 WC, and 25,2 last year at Euro. That last one was affected greatly by two unimportant games for spot 5 (33 and 32 goals). Still, they managed to keep the following teams under at that championship: The Netherlands 24, Macedonia 21, Norway 22 and Germany 24. The first half with Croatia finished at 26. They went under this margin at WC against: Qatar 20, Algeria 22, Croatia 24, Switzerland 24, Tunisia 23, Spain 21 and Sweden 24. Only the Russia (28) and Brazil (30) games went over but we need to say that the Brazil game was not important. We can conclude that they had unders in 11 out of 16 games at the last two championships, if we look only at important games. They finished the qualifiers for this competitions with 21 against Romania, 27 against Bulgaria and 20 against Sweden. Details

    The Saudis are pretty weakened, without 3-4 key players and cannot deal with top European teams like that. They no longer have the quality they had at least year's Asian championship. The numbers from that competition do not go in favor of this tip but the competition was weaker there and they had those 4 players. It's not wonder they are now looking to play a faster-pace game. They played two close games at some 60 goals with Russia back when they had two very important players are rather good quality. Against Tunisia, they finished at 38-21 in the last game.

    Croatia stayed under 30 against Spain and Germany last season, which doesn't have much to do with today's game. At 2015 WC, the most comparable game is the one with Algeria (even though Arabia are worse). We do have to say that this Croatia seem better than back then. They reached EC semis last season.

    Handicap at Croatia is also an option here (total handicap and first half) but I am more inclined to go towards full time because of how the game is expected to finish and Arabia potentially falling apart in the second half. Team over seems a bit better than total handicap here even though I expect a double-digit goal difference. Details

    There is no doubt in my mind that Faroe Island will win this. Since I expect them to open fiercely, the first half handicap at them seems like a very good option. I don't think they will go under some 15 goals and I don't think Chile can go over 12.

    Faroe Islands play a fast-paced game similar to Danish national team game. They were very efficient in qualifiers for this competition (scored 16 against Switzerland in the first half, 17 against Israel, 16 Finland). Switzerland and Finland are better than Chile and Isreal are at least one level better. They had a 4-goal win over Finland at half time and 2 against Finland. Their key players are at Danish and German teams and will transfer their game here.

    But, the main reason for this tip are Chile. They are extremely defensive-oriented. At the Panamerican championship this season, they conceded 18 and 14 goals by half time to the only comparable opponents Brazil and lost first halves by 4 and 9 goals. The US managed to score 14 at half time and win the first half by 5. Two years ago in Russia at WV, they conceded the following number of goals by half time: South Korea 19, Hungary 17, Poland 16, Sweden 23, Serbia 18, Venezuela 16 and Algeria 18. They had an 8-point deficit at HT to Korea, 13 Hungary, 8 Poland, 15 Sweden, 12 Serbia, 4 Venezuela and 10 Algeria. I'm not saying Faroe Islands are Hungary and Sweden level, but they are at least as good as Venezuela. Chile as a rule get behind by half time and their opponents then hold back in the second half which results in less goals.

    I believe Faroe Islands will set their pace here and score a lot of goals by half time to get at least a 4-5 goal lead. Details
