    Kuznetsova's health has been doubtful from the start of this tournament. But as it went on, it turned out she was in perfect order and she improved her performance, playing her best match in the semifinal. She's ready, and in this form she's above Nara, who hasn't had a single strong win on hard court this season. She has beaten players in poor form and players that don't have what it takes to play on this surface. She has beaten two unstable players - Keys and Mladenovic - while Dias should have beaten her had she not gotten injured. Errani, on the other hand, missed too many chances in the semifinal. Kuznetsova has left a better impression and hasn't lost a single set, while Nara almost lot 2 and played in the doubles, which can be an important thing today as she relies on her running and tough attitude. Kuznetsova is not a typical aggressive player, she can play calmly, play on both sides of the net and she has a better serve. Nara has reached her maximum here, even beyond that and Kuznetsova is simply superior to her. Details

    Last year, Denmark and Montenegro played two matches, first for the palcement to EC U17 qualifications (ended 24-24), second in EC U17, where Denmark won 23-17. Year later, this WC, we have Montenegro whose players play in the same club the whole season, Danilovrad, they played a regional league against the better senior team and their main players played for the Montenegro senior team in the EC 2014 qualifications for the first time. Compared to those two matches previously mentioned, they have two strong players from the starting roster, wing Bulatovic and forward Ramusovic, while Denmark lack two players that made the Danish backbone in EC last year, Flader and Christensen. On this WC, Montenegro had seven consecutive wins till the semifinals, they lost the semi in the last three minutes of the match. Denmark don't have a strong individual player, but their collective is strong, there's a great goalie, but she showed lots of weaknesses during this WC, especially against the defensive teams, Montenegro leading the list of defensive teams. They got away with a tie against the Romanians in the group, they saved themselves against the Russians in the quarterfinal by scoring a goal in the last offense, and were outplayed by the Germans in the semifinals, even though the Germans' reputation was worse and they had less individual options in the offense. The Montenegrins also have the psychological momentum on their side because they fulfilled their goal by being placed among top four teams, and they'll definitively go after the medal today, while Denmark wanted to get to the finals at least, and pointed out their goal was to win the title here. I expect a match where the difference will be a goal or two for one of them, the value is the handicap offered for the Montenegrins, and a valuable pick is a smaller stake on their win, too. Details

    In a match with much higher stakes (winner was in for the semifinals), these teams played at 52 goals total, and the Austrians were miserable offensively. Right after that, they changed their game style, playing with a stronger rhythm, and it looks good. We can expect them to play the final match of the tournament like that, and that means this match shouldn't end under 55 goals. On the other hand, Slovenia have one of the best transitions on the tournament, but also one of the worst goalie couples. Considering the small importance of today's match, I doubt that Ivezic's team will be brilliant defensively, and leave the home team at 22 goals. I they could score 30 and 32 against Sweden and Serbia , then they can get something similar against Slovenia, too - that's plenty enough for this match to go over the margin because the Slovenians, who never lost to Austria in this generation, shouldn't be a problem when it comes to the number of scored goals.     Kerber is a bit overrated in this match. True, not many have expected to beat Muguruza so convincingly but this is a completely different match. Muguruza played one of her worst matches this season, she flopped with her serve and the German used what was offered to her. The Spaniard won only 9 points in 7 service games and it's clear that's far from her usual performances. On the other hand, Lepchenko had a much easier task against Vickery. She let her take only one game and got filled with confidence for the upcoming semifinals. She has already gotten two great win (Garcia,Radwanska) and one easier match suited her well. Unlike Muguriza, who looked for a winner in almost every rally, thus making Kerber's job easier, Lepchenko has been more patient and consistent lately. She has shown that against Radwanska whom she beat because of her consistency. She's playing at home, she has one of the best chances in her career and the head-to-heads show she had a good chance. That's why I think the 3.10 odds seem a bit too much and I believe everything above 2.6 is worth taking. Details

    A good price for the team that scored one goal in the last four away games. I've been writing about Salt Lake's offense problems for weeks now, but the situation is not getting better. They have been scoring one goal or none since mid-May, the only exception were the Revs, but that happened during their biggest crisis (two goals, both from penalty kicks), and Impact (three goals, the score was 1-1 up until one of Impact's players was sent off)!
    This is an important game, not only because of the rivalry but in the battle for play off as well. They currently have three points more than the Rapids, and they definitely want to keep it that way. It may not go as planned, but I don't think they will create a lot of attempts either way. Let's not forget they had a tough game with Red Bulls on Wednesday. Details
